I am just blown away by the way a Dunn & Bradstreet Company can be managed so poorly. DO NOT TRUST DNB HOOVERS!
I can only guess that the team that manages this product is so desperate to retain customers that they are scammers.
I will start from the beggining.
1. They completely misrepresent the sales tool product they are trying to sell. I was sold on a system where I could filter through "current" listings of potential buyers of my companies products and services, I would have thier direct emails and phone numbers to contact them. It is very inaccurate and there are no direct emails or phone numbers. Proof: I used the listing and did research using the internet and Linked In to show that thier listings were very inaccurate and outdated. Almost a useless tool that is not what the potential sales they entice you with and its extremely overpriced for what it actually is. They were charging my company $450.00 per month. I would not pay $50 per month for this outdated system.
2. They need to set up the online portal for you when you first get your subscription. You are dependent on your account reps customer service. In my case they didnt set up my second user for over 30 days! The guy I had hired to utilize this sales tool didnt even get a chance to use this for a month and then when we both dug deeper into the system we deemed it useless. They appologized but I was not impressed.
3. They charged me duplicate charges to my CC! In the first couple months I had four charges to my CC for $450.00 one was pending so I caught it on time but another had to be credited to me. I have a feeling this was no accident, but they did appologize.
See email from them below.

4. After almost a year of wasting money on this I saw a renewal notice about 30 days before my term was ending. I emailed and made it clear I was not going to renew for another year and the reply I got back was very surprising.

Thank you for reaching out.
After reviewing your account, unfortunately I will not be able to cancel or hold your account due to we require a 60 day notice of cancellation prior to renewal date.
I however submitted a case to stop the renewal for 2019.
Please, let me know if you have any questions or concerns as I can give you a call to discuss.
Thanks,
Jorge Espinoza
Account Manager
They set up your contract to autorenew! Dont let them do this to you! I should have caught it on the docusign before I signed it. But the fact that the fine print in a second linked document reads that you must give a 60 days notice to cancel the auto renew is completely scammy!!!!. They know you are not going to want to renew so they try to trick you into wasting another $5,400.00! I am currently disputing a renewal they are trying to make me pay $5,400.00 for!! They are ignoring my emails and phone calls and they tried to charge my CC but I blocked thier charges by locking my card.
The customer service Jorge and Arnold have provided on my account has not been professional or satifactory. THey gave me a contact they said is thier manager but he has not responded to phone calls or emails. I am begginining to think thie person does not exist and it another part of thier scam.
Have filed a better business report for D&B in the hope of bringing attention to what the people at D&B have been doing to my limited liability company for the past thirteen years. My company is and has been on a high risk status since I contact D&B to sign up for a DUNs number. I have tried on several occassions tried to work through the bogus status by calling D&B speaking with customer service representatives located in the US. as well as overseas only to find that my company details have not been corrected. I have also spoken with DNB's credit risk depatment faxed them a complete set of company documents for them to correct my company's details only to find that D&B refuses to acknowledge my company. Earlier today I received a telephone call from a Rob person at D&B who called me to ask what he can do to assist my company. As I started to explain to him about how D&B does not have my company's correct street address and has had this problem since 2006 the year that my company was incorporated as an LLC. he interrupted me to state that my company was not incorporated in the year 2006. This character also went on to state that my company is a shell company. I asked him if he is certain about this given that it's an LLC company, a privately held company and not legally able to be traded as a publicly traded company. Rob the character was not able to explain himself however he did start talking about how he knows more aout finance than I do a person that works as a business finance consultant as a profession, whose LLC company is registered with the State of Nevada since 2006, whose company's commercial account with Bank of America has been active since 2006 and whose company is also licensed in Clark county Nevada a basic required for having an office in Clark county.
I went on to let Rob know that I would like to speak with his supervisor. However I was denied the opportunity. Rob also went on to state that he wants me to write a fax number down for me to fax the company documents so he would review the information. I explained to him that this has been done on several occassions in recent years and that this is a dead end since D&B does not acknowledge my company I went on to let Rob know that the BBB compalint stands and that I would be making certain that more people become aware of this farce company whose only interest is to charge people for their alledged services. I am also convinced that this old company founded in the 1800's is crooked and whose only interested is cheating people of their money.
I also asked Rob if he is a business owner, he was not able to answer the question since he also isn't an entrepenuer only a person working for a company.
I found out that D&B had given out some derogatory information about my company. upon checking I found that they did not know the correct facts about my company. They did not know who the President and CEO was, when and where the company was started and they showed a loan that we never had. They showed that we were a part of another company and that a person we never heard of was the owner.
When we called to asked what was going on they said we could dispute it but that it would take a while. When ask where they got the information they said fronm public records. Thats a lie because upon checking with the Secretary of State they had the orrect information.
They then told me to go to a website to review and up date the information and the site would not let me change anything. I called back to complain and asked that they make the changes since they were the ones who messedit up. they said they would and never got back to me.
I finally did get a phone call from a guy who told me to avoid this in the future I should purchase a plan from them, (I think that is called blackmail) Which I did not do. I told him all I wanted was to have it straightned out and he then transfered me to customer service and no one answered.
A week later nothing has happened after I was promissed a call back in three to five days. The call I finally got was the same guy trying to sell me something. I then called customer service again and went through the whole story again and asked them to take my account off their system so no one could see it. I was told they could not do that so I asked to speak to a supervisor and after a time on hold they got back to me and told me they could in fact HIDE my account.
I finally got anither call again 4 days later and they ask me to tell them about my business who owned it and other information. I told them when I started the company and she asked if I could furnish them proof. At that point I asked them to take me out of the system. she said ahe would but I haven't seen it yet.
D and B is ripping off small business and unless you check you will never know. They are a very dishonest company.
My Business Summary at Government iUpdate on D&B has the wrong URL for my website and wrong fax number. This has been reported to D&B 10 times and they will not correct it. When I get them on the phone they try to sell me something but claim some BS about not being able to update for 21 days??

None of this is exaggerated, it is all documented with emails and documents and I would be glad to show proof.
