I was shown a nice apartment, I asked if this was going to be my apartment, I was told yes. Move in date came and I was instructed that my apartment wasn't ready. Waited 14 days and was told that the occupants had just turned in the apartment keys one day ago and that I could move in. Cabinets and walls were filthy with food and unknown stuff. Kitchen cabinet fronts fell off to the grown, holes in garage walls, no washer or dryer.
I asked where washer and dryer was and was told that "technically, you don't pay for them, they just come with the apartment so deal with it. I complained and had to wait two weeks for what should have been there. I was charged $20-25 monthly for valet trash pickup monthly. What the hell, dumpster is around the corner. I didnt agree to this. "Sorry, everyone pays it"... I came home and there was insulation all over the shelf in the closet and large foot prints. Office stated no one was there
. Looked into the attic and someone had cut out all the fire proofing walls in the attic allowing anyone to move from one apartment to another and just drop in. I complained about neighbors discussing what I did in my own apartment through wall. My lady said, did you hear that. I said yes and turned off my lights and told management I thought there were cameras in my apartment. Management did nothing. I just got out of shower and heard two young girls giggle and described my appearance. I was freaked out.
I complained to Manager, nothing happened. My Wyze cameras caught a maintenance man coming and going into my apartment. I asked Management why he was in my furnace room, Management couldn't explain it because he hadnt any reason to be in there. You can see him rolling up a long thin cord and dropped it while trying to sneak it into his pocket. I pulled the bathroom register and bedroom registers to find that the duct work had been cut out with accesses, pointed towards shower and the beds.
I contacted Connor Group, nothing was done. I filed with BBB trying to get my deposit back. I was told it was mailed a month ago. I moved out 10/27/21 its now after Christmas and was told check was sent today 12/28/2021. Connor Group changes management every 6 months or so. That away they don't have to answer for the lies told or actions that are unjustified.
This leasing/management office under Connor Group will not thoroughly go over cost involved with a lease for Dublin Parks located on Sawmill Road in Dublin, Ohio. It does not list itself under section 8, but does allow low income/fixed income preferences for its residents...this is not disclosed at leasing office or during the actual lease agreement signing. It offers a special leasing price, but within second month will increase trash to a cost of currently 68 dollars a month which includes a valet trash pick up that cannot be denied by the occupant.
Have to use a small black trashcan that only can hold one 33 galloon trash bag; otherwise, it will be left and occupant will pay up to a 100 dollar fine...spectrum is only internet service which will cost occupant a charge of 189 dollars....it does not include business speeds or anthing but a basic package...this cannot be denied either...maintenance is terrible whether it is an emergency or not, so is lawncare, etc. services period....SAVE yourself the headache, costs, and overall nightmare by going to a more reputable establishment.
Look over the agreement carefully if you decide to move here. Cost at this time of writing to lease a 2bd, one car garage, size 1300 square feet and this includes the garage is costing 1,900 a month at this time....as of three months ago is was to be 1299 a month.
