I needed a clutch replacement and found Duane online, he offered me an excellent price on parts and labor. He first charged me $100.00 for an in person consultation and requested I send it to him via cashapp under the handle $Dap0757. He gave me his work number which is 757-344-4240 and eventually his address which is 472 Algonquin Road, Hampton, Virginia. He said he would buy the parts directly from the warehouse to save me money. I gave him the funds to do so but he couldn't ever provide me with a receipt, which I thought was odd. My boyfriend ended up needing a small repair soon after, so we asked if he could do it. He agreed, took our money and my boyfriends car ended up breaking down. Duane claimed that we didn't give him enough time to do the repair correctly, but he had the car for almost a month. I ended up asking for my parts back after he did a horrible job on my boyfriends car. He said he rather just give me a refund, I said that's fine and he said it would take 2 weeks to get it back from the warehouse. For the next 2 months I was asking him for updates about my refund. He always had a new excuse for why he couldn't refund me yet. It was clear to me I wasn't getting my money back. We had to repair my boyfriends car and mine after already paying Duane. So I decided to take him to small claims court but he couldn't be served. They claimed he was "evicted" but I know that's not true. Please do not trust this man, he is only out to steal.
