D.Tube.com is a SCAM! DTube tricks new users. It is Not a Video upload site. They draw you in with promises of it being an alternative to YouTube. [They are not]. They assign you 2 different 40+ digit pass codes. [Once you log out, you cannot immediately log in again. I had to wait a week before one of them worked]. They prompt you to upload a video. [But in order to proceed, you must log out and back in. Again, you cannot log in right away.] If you manage to get back into your account and try to upload a video, they wait until you have followed all of their steps then tell you that you do not have enough DTCs (DTube credits) to upload.
When you're totally fed up and realize you've been scammed, you've unknowingly given crooks your e-mail address and possibly other personal information, you then learn you can't delete the account. Over and over, on many sites, I read online that DTube was such wonderful video uploading site that did not have advertising and did not censor videos. I even searched to see if it was listed as a scam. It had not been but it should have been. Actually, it should be banned. However, it seems to be a well-connected group of liars and thieves who know fully well how to promote themselves on all the major browsers. By the way, not only is there no way to close the account, but there is no way to contact anyone directly regarding issues with the account. No, it's NOTHING like Youtube. By no means does DTube come close to being an alternative. It's not even a safe option.
