Drizly.com Reviews

This purpose of this report is to draw attention to the growing problem of business owners doing whatever it takes to turn a profit. Providing a service, need or even a want for the customer does not factor into any equation when it comes to running a business in this country-- it's all about making money at all cost. And, enters coronavirus and some wonder why it is happening and why it has hurt their bottom line. Cheating the customer is not the solution.

Drizly.com is guilty of multiple federal and state consumer laws, including but not limited to false and deceptive advertising, deceptive and unfair business practices. The number of complaints with the Federal Trade Commission as well as state office of attorneys general are beginning to stack up against the online wine delivery company for failing to operate in accordance with its published guarantees of on time delivery. Customers can forget about getting their money back when their wine is sometimes 2 hours late. When contacting customer service, the consumer is told to send back the unopened bottle of wine in order to receive a refund for a late order. This is crazy BS and definitely not the way to retain customers or achieve customer satisfaction.

The owners of this online wine delivery business is cut from the same cloth as the owner of both Uber and Lyft. They do not care about violating the law or screwing the consumer out of money. The guys are criminals who are only in it to make fast, quick money, pay their fines when they finally do get caught, then sell the fledgling business to another company or investor.

The online wine delivery concept is a bad idea for a number of reasons, including the unreliability of third-party vendors to delivery according to the company's mission statement.

Drizly.com and Cory Rellas make several claims on the company website as to quality assurance and customer service. However, I know first-hand that this is a bunch of bull. In fact, the website is a lie. While I do not order wine online, I did so during an out of town visit. I ordered one bottle of wine and provided payment. But, after more than an hour, the order was late.

In keeping with the company's so-called strong value system to "figure it out" and to "get to the truth", I requested a refund through my bank which was rejected. Apparently, Drizly customer service and Mr. Rellas are not on the same page and false information was communicated to my banking institution. Now, I cannot get my money back for a problem that drizly.com caused.

Here is your warning before using this online delivery company to buy a bottle of wine. The good news is that with its current business practices, drizly.com with their dumb name and lily white staff will be defunct, soon.
