Driver Support Reviews
This company put up an ad which appeared in area on my computer which led me to trust it. I know better, but paid for what looked like one issue, then I noticed a second payment pop up in a month, called and was told I had "subscribed" to their service.
Another persons report warned that they actually may install spyware. I would warn that this is a useless service, has misleading ad, and charges you indefinitely, so don't answer or respond to their ad.
Will not recommend to use: I had cancel on driver support website they sent me a copy of their terms for them it appears to be all about the money: I thought this was a onetime charge. They keep taking 4.99 out of my account every month. I don't even think the program does much. tried to fix driver problems, it did, work, caused more harm and now they have my personal information, hopefully I will get refund, however as of now they refused to give me a refund told them to remove all of my information they have not. I contacted my bank to file a dispute and stop payment also contacted the FTC
My I.T. Computer Consultant told me that they are SPYWARE and un-installed it.
I am sick to death of these companies whom you deal with for one particular thing then decide they can withdraw money from an account any time they like. Not large amounts - granted - but constant amounts that add up. Now I paid for a driver support system last years that did not require renewing until November this year and discover that Driver Support in Austin Texas have taken money from my account to pay for a further driver support update that I neither requested nor required. Worse still I go t nothing for it anyway. I want my money back and I want them charged with illegal use of a debit account. In my country what they have done is tantamount to stealing and that is just what it is stealing from an account using the debit system via that person's previously used visa card. This is sickening and I do not want this to go on happening. Please do something about this The only email address keeps coming back to me. How do I stop it from being debited again?
In July 2017, I purchased a Driver Support software package for my laptop and thought it was doing what it is supposed to do. On Saturday, December 16, the SD Card reader in the laptop failed to work. I scanned the system using Driver Support and received a message that all my drivers were up to date. Rebooted the laptop and scanned again with the same result, all drivers are up to date. Card reader is still not working.
Went to the Dell website for assistance, updated my Bios to the latest version. Then went to the RealTek web site, found the correct driver for the card reader, downloaded and installed the new driver. I then called Driver Support and asked for a refund as their software is obviously not doing what they claim. I received an email from them this morning basically saying "tough luck" we don't issue refunds.
I saw a charge on my bank account that i ordered this product and i had not. i called them at 9 30 eastern standard time and asked to speak to a supervisor because they clamed they can not send a refund when i can not provide a order number but how can i give them that when i don't have one. i told them i will be reporting them as a scam and will be calling back to talk to a supervisor .
This company charged my credit card for 9.99 for a monthly subscription I had no idea I had. They advertise a driver fix for your computer as a one time fix and then charge you a montly subscription. This is a scam and illegal advertising. They also have a refund section on their website that you cannot access. Appartently it is just for show. I received no answers to any of my emails but cancelled my so called service and demanded a refund. I hate companies that do this!
