I took my vehicle to Driveline Vista Inc and requested to purchase a new front driveshaft for my vehicle. Owner Frank Twist agreed to sell/build me said part, and also told me that he recommended I purchase a new rear driveshaft as well. Both shafts were out of my budget, but I trusted Mr. Twists professional opinion and proceeded with the order. The vehicle was left with Mr. Twist for a few days and then I was notified to come and retrieve it. The front driveshaft literally fell out of the vehicle while I was driving it due to the part being too short in length.
Mr. Twist was contacted and refused any help or refund. I made multiple attempts to have it repaired, replaced, or refunded to no avail with Mr. Twist. My credit card company was then contacted to aid in the dispute of the charge of $816.10. Mr. Twist submitted false statements to the credit card company that resulted in the total loss of my money to Mr. Twist's wallet.
My credit card company (Capital One) whom I have been an excellent long-time customer of did NOTHING to help me, and sided with Mr. Twist during the dispute without making him provide even as much as a copy of my original order or invoice (which he did not). I was told by Capital One that Mr. Twist obtaining my credit card number was proof enough to validate the transaction. WHAT A JOKE!
In short, I was misled, supplied the wrong parts, denied a refund or remedy, and in the end out of pocket $816.10 of hard earned money to Driveline Vista Inc / Frank Twist. I urge other potential customers to BEWARE!!!
