I should have listened to the several posts about how "Drive aGO LLC" is a scam and a rip-off. I rented a electric Nissan leaf and was pulled over by police for having expired license plates and issued tickets. There is no number for "Drive aGO" only a text number. This was a scam alert to me. Drive aGO texted me to drive the car back and that they will order new plates.
The plates expired in march! 5 minutes later I was pulled over again by cops and told not to drive the vehicle or risk losing my license, so I texted them the location of the car for towing. As I searched their app for a second car I noticed 6 out of 10 cars ALL had expired plates, NO city window sticker, temporary registration (rejected by uber) and expired uber/lyft inspection forms. When I did book a second car, it showed a new registration pic with sticker.
I went to pick the second car up near 79th and cottage grove, in an abandoned lot with the front hub cap missing, filthy interior, hanging cords from under dash and all uber window decals were scraped off.
I headed to car wash and was stopped by cops again (3rd time). Cops had me step out the car after they looked inside the car, saw the filth, hanging cords, no city window sticker and questioned me as if the car was stolen. "Drive aGO" texted me to drive the car back, but cops said don't do it, so the second car had to be towed.
I found the Drive aGO, co-founder Ryan Murphy on facebook and he played the "nut roll" at first, then offered me a discount on my next car rental. Next day, my account was terminated! Lol So I called the insurance company "associated agencies and Hamilton specialty" and found both to be fraudulent in relationship with "Drive aGO". All cars show "Mike Albert leasing LTD" on the registration. I looked into it, and again......fraudulent. I found out that Ryan Murphy and Ali Rae Murphy are the frauds running this scam. They charge your account and they think you have no recourse, think again. Don't get scammed by Ryan Murphy and the fake "Drive aGO"
