The absolute worst experience I have ever had from people who call themselves professionals. I need two very simple things done, a tire with a nail in it replaced and a quote on brakes. 4 DAYS, 3 PHYSICAL visits, an almost 7 HOUR WAIT, and 3 examples of Ninja-level ignorance later it is STILL NOT DONE.
This comedy of errors began Wednesday. I called in and spoke to Dave. We spent the better part of an hour ensuring he had the tire I need (an unusual size) in stock. He assured me he did, and that if I came in early in the morning, he'd get me in and out. I told him I'd be in as they open on Friday.
Friday morning comes and I am there as they open. No Dave, but Steve on the desk. Steve tells me quote "Well, Dave is a jacka*s who doesn't know what he is talking about. We don't stock that size at all. I will order it though, and have it here Saturday, by 8" I ask him if he is SURE this time, and he says absolutely.
Saturday morning comes and no Steve, back to Dave and now Adam - who simply shrugs when I explain everything and tells me not his problem. Deliveries aren't received on Saturdays; I'll have to come back Monday. The tire MIGHT be there by then. No effort is made to actually LOOK for the tire. Dave throws in that Steve "doesn't know what the hell he's doing" - although he DOESN'T explain how him telling me the tire was in stock on Wednesday when it wasn't doesn't somehow qualify as HIM not knowing what he is doing either. So, just shy of livid I leave for the second time.
No sooner do I hit the front door of my house than I get a call from Adam "hey, ha ha, that tire IS here after all. Come on back and we'll get it put on". I go back, and hand over the keys at 9:15 a.m. Adam informs me they'll put me at the front of the list. AT NOON I'm told they are just getting around to looking at the vehicle, even though at least a DOZEN other customers have come and gone since. At 12:30, I am told the rear brakes do indeed need replacement. I ask specifically "DO YOU HAVE THE PARTS IN STOCK" and explain that if not I have to come back. Yep, I'm told, we have the parts here and will get started right away - be done in an hour.
TWO HOURS LATER - "hey, just as soon as those brake parts get delivered, we'll get started" About the same time, Dave wanders by with a helpful "man, I can't BELIEVE you're still here!"
Finally at 3:00, after 6 1/2 hours, Dave tells me "hey, we don't have enough time in the day to do your brakes. How about you come back Monday early and we'll try to fit you in?" Needless to say I told him just let me pay for the one tire that it took them 4 DAYS to replace and be on my way.
And as a final slap in the face, I am told the bill is $278 after giving me a discount for the "inconvenience". The one tire cost $250 plus tax, no hazard so man I REALLY appreciate that $9 Drew. Really makes the whole thing worth it!
