May 29 - June 04, 2018: Drew's RV Tech's (DRVT's) failed to act in accordance with RV Industry Standards and failed to perform in a normal professional business manner during their failed attempt to provide RV service (brake work). The attempted repair service involved completely replacing brake assemblies and hub / brake drum assemblies with all new parts on my 2013 Jayco Eagle travel trailer (4 total brake assemblies).
The new brake assemblies & hub / drum assemblies were not properly installed and were not completely and accurately adjusted. Further, DRVT's applied a significant over-charge to the cost of the new brake assemblies and the hub / drum assemblies.
Several attempts to recover part of the cost of the brake rework (payment refund), have failed. DRVT's personnel and the owner, operator, manager of DRVT's business, Mr. Anklin Drew, have not responded (ignored), or in certain situations, acted in a non-sympathetic, rude, and non-professional manner.
In summary, DRVT's has consistently refused to discuss any options for corrective actions and/or accept responsibility for the failed RV Service / repair work.
The failed RV travel trailer brake service/repair is in violation of certain Florida State Statutes, Florida Motor Vehicle Repair License, Florida State Highway Safety Standards / regulations (also, most other states), Federal Highway Safety standards / regulations. Note: A ten thousand pound (10,000 lbs.) GVWR travel trailer, with sub-standard / sub-par brake performance is a serious (and, unacceptable) highway safety issue
