On Saturday Jan. 26th, 2019, I signed a contract with Dillon Woodall from Dream Finders Home in the Blanco Vista Subdivision and put down 2000 dollar earnest money to hold the house that my family and I wished to purchase. In the contract it said I had 7 days to obtain a loan for this home. I was working with a national lender to use my VA loan.
The earnest money and contract was to keep anyone from purchasing this house in those 7 days. On Wednesday Jan. 30th which is 4 days later, I was told that there was a cash offer on the house and they were going to sell the house to the cash buyers. I was also told that my contract didn't matter because the Dillon's management hadn't signed the contract and that it was just a piece of paper that meant nothing. They were taking the cash offer and sorry for my luck.
