I took a ps4 in for repair for my son back in july to Dr Smart Phones. I was told it would take 2-3 days to fix. I explained to the guy i needed the ps4 fixed for my son who was with me for the summer for normal visits, before he goes back to louisiana. After a week went by i didnt hear from them at all. I finally picked up the phone and called them. The guy stated it was the hard drive amd that he removed a harddrive from a ps4 that was in store n plugged it in the one for repair. He said it worked. He then gave me a list of options for harddrives and prices. I chose which one i wanted. After that another month goes by i still havent gotten a phone call or message from them. I called them back at this point he states he is having trouble downloading the software to the hard drive. A few days later i get my first call from them after 2 months. He stated the game will be done the next day, he wanted all old jobs out before moving next door to their new location. I didnt hear from them again for another few weeks on a call again that i ignitiated. Then he stated he couldnt get the software to download again that he thought it was the mother board. At this point i was frustrated. I had been telling my son different days when it would be ready. So on 11-28 i call and tell him im coming to pick the game up. He states that there is a charge for a diagnostic test that was ran on the system. I asked whats the diagnostic process. He stated that they take the game apart and basically use past experience to figure out whats wrong with the game. I explained to him that that wasnt a diagnostic thats just an educated guess. He then tells me why didnt you fix it if you know so much. I went to go pick the game up n he handa me a game system that has one screw on the inside holding all components together. No harddrive and also kept the original controller. He then tells me i can leave his store. At this point im very mad so we had a big argument while in the store. I tried to explain this is a kids game that ive had to tell him different things based of what they have told me as a company. As i was in the store 2 customers come in with the same problem things removed from their original device.
