I went to Dr. Ahearn early in 2015 to get my blood pressure lowered and in control. She started me on Lisinopril, then added Carvediolol (sp?) and I had no serious side effects at first. Then she increased the Carvediolol which resulted in severe dizziness and I stopped it on my own but continued the Lisinopril. However, after a while this too caused serious dizziness. I tried to make appointments with Dr. Ahearn to discuss the effects of the Lisinopril, but she kept diverting me to see her PA, Kattie. Finally Kattie took me off the Lisinopril due to it hurting my kidneys and put me on a BP drug (don't recall name), which also produced such side effects I had to stop it. They also had me on Metroprolar tar, but it had bad effects as well. The last time I saw Dr. Ahearn she asked if I had ever heard of Lisinopril in looking for still another BP drug, and it was then I realized Dr. Ahearn has no idea what she is doing, and I heard someone else say that as well. I've been to many doctors in my life but never ever suffered equilibrium problems until Dr. Ahearn put me on these drugs. Even though I'm no longer on any drugs by her, I still suffer balance problems daily. I may be this way till I die and hate it. Dr. Ahearn is a menace to the medical field. My advise is to not only keep away from her, but run from her as well.
