Nifty Thrifty actually RAISES prices for dentists, collectsa commission, and tells dentists that they SAVED money. Glenn positions Nifty Thrifty FB group as this way to "save" dentistry and dentists money, but it is in fact the opposite. If a vendor approaches him, Glenn wil convince them to raise their prices but not tell the dentists and other dental professionals in his group about this secret price hike. He then says to the vendor that they deserve more but that they will bill this as a "discount" to his dentist audience. If the vendor isn't Asian, he will tell the vendor that Asians trust him to give them the lowest price for any of the dental goods and services offered on his FB group.
What Glenn Vo, DDS is doing is illegal and against Facebook's terms of service. He isn't allowed to use Facebook's group to sell the way he is, so he started seomthing called "Dental Hub 360." Dental Hub 360 was to offer plausible deniability that vendors weren't paying Glenn for use of his FB group, but to buy "advertising" on Dental Hub 360. Turns out, Dental Hub 360 never had any traffic. And the vendors knew this. Glenn had them all sign NDAs saying they wouldn't talk to FB representatives if they came knocking.
In one instance, a dentist who started a software company complained that Glenn had asked him to raise his prices over 700% and give Glenn half of the mark up. Apparently this dentist resonated with Glenn's messaging that offering dentists the best possible deal is a personal passion. He contacted Glenn and offered to give a discount on an already rock bottom priced software.
Glenn never denied this accusation to this day. He said that the dentist was jealous of his success. What Glenn didn't know is this dentist had screenshots of the ENTIRE THING and Glenn was caught read handed. This dentist felt offended that Glenn would do this to the dental profession and posted these screenshots after Glenn said he always offers the best price in dentistry. Multiple vendors who hadn't yet signed the NDA came forward and admitted they had the same experience where Glenn would convince the vendors that they should raise their prices in order to provide him a commission and that "they won't find out" if they just sign the NDA.
After the screenshots of these events surfaced in other dental FB groups, all but one FB group for dentists took the posts down. Rumors started swirling that the other censoring FB groups were also co-owners in Dental Hub 360. The only group that didn't take the posts down was Dental Hacks Nation. They even allowed Glenn Vo to tell his side of the story, but after it came out that there were screenshots of Glenn saying Asians only want to do business with Asians and they don't care if it's a real or fake discount Glenn went silent.
According to multiple vendors, Glenn would use race in persuading people to make bad deals. He told people that if they aren't white or Asian, nobody would buy from them in dentistry. He would say things like Asians are not going to do business with a black person because it's not in their nature. Or that you need a white guy to push your product because white dentists are mostly racist and will find you unrelatable as an Arab since 9/11.
Glenn Vo has some nerve talking bad about his dentist colleagues. Something he does on the daily and it's finally caught up to him. He burned so many bridges that only a few other people caught in past scams allow him in their company. I've personally seen him talk horribly about a colleague and then shake their hand and smile at them on a dental cruise event. It's like two completely different people.
Now Glenn Vo is supposed to teach side hustles to non-dentists who want to learn how to start a side hustle and be great like him. He teaches how to break FB TOS with NDAs and how to "win friends and influence people." Or, you know, be phony and pretend to like people you care nothing about.
Glenn teaches his amazing "negotiating" skills which is laughable. This guy thinks begging for a bigger cut is negotiating. He will simply beg and grovel for a higher percentage of something in order to sell to his unsuspecting dentist colleagues in his FB group Nifty Thrifty Dentists.
He says he's a working dentist and stays around the office for as he calls it "street cred." Just another way Glenn tries to appear to be something he's not...a practicing dentist because he thinks that'll help him net more sales from dentists who "don't know" he's just doing his side hustles full time.
The fact that Glenn is teaching this to others is why I'm twriting this review now. It's been many years that we've seen Glenn destroy dentistry and lie cheat and steal. Now, go ahead and ask him point blank if the screenshots of him saying all these things are real or not. He. Will. Not. Answer. You.
