One of the moles being removed was in an EXTREMELY painful location. It was on my breastbone directly in between my breasts. He refused to administer any more numbing medication when i requested it. I was told surgery was supposed to be painful. It really upsets me that so many other people were mistreated and physically harmed by this "Doctor".
In 2004-2005 i was seen by this doctor for 3 moles that had grown in size. Dr Marder told me they were cancerous and needed to be removed. The first one he removed grew back within 2 weeks. He then told me they would have to be surgically cut out. During the procedure, he didn't allow enough time for the Lidocaine to numb me properly. One mole was in a very painful location. It was on my breastbone directly in between my breasts. After he started to surgically remove it, i was in extreme pain and requested more numbing medication. He refused saying that surgery was supposed to be painful. This "Doctor" was very rude and had no compassion. Unfortunately, I allowed him to remove the other moles with very similar painful results. He had male interns in the room with us, i was told to undress from my pants up. My shirt and bra had to be removed. I was not allowed any type of sheet or disposable paper cover. I had to sit in a room with only men with my upper body completey bare. I was very uncomfortable and embarrassed. I am so upset even after all these years thinking about how i was treated and feel so sorry for those people who I'm sure were treated worse than me!
