This doctor told me that my insurance would cover his bill and that my total out of pocket was $54.50. He submitted the bill to somewhere in New Jersey while I have insurance in New York. I have been to court numerous times. It has been five years and I hired a lawyer who filed a Motion. The Arbitrator ruled that I owe him nothing as he double billed my insurance company (MagnaCare and Blue Cross) and had no proof of mailing a bill to the correct insurance company. The first time he did submit to the correct insurace company and I got the approval for surgery from Blue Cross. BC never heard from them after they approved my surgery. After 4 1/2 years I got Blue Cross to pay nearly $40,000 yet he still wants another $50,000. He has put a lien on my house. I was just notified today that it's going to trial. Do not go to this doctor. I had surgery at 9:00 AM and was home by 10:15. I also needed another surgery after him screwing my sinus' up even more. His staff is rude, they lie and he is a thief.
