I will number the issues or incidents: 1.1st pay stub:Deduction shock, will more than likely,get u to leave Contract. Gross 251.57, and I clear 123.00 No Taxes!!! The Marketing Fee,was -81.67! So,they give u $3 a run,and steal $2 back,So u net $1 in essence,on runs where u have a double stop ,that can easily cover more than 30 miles total.That is based on 48 deliveries,at no hourly,using my own vehicle and gas.Add it up,At 20 mpg that can be $5 gas,and your net loss is $4,to take their BS.Not accounting Wear and Tear.Back to Marketing weekly Fee:Hence,More Deliveries,and that is more than 100 plus,deducted WEEKLY!!!!!! This is unfounded.I have no knowledge of any Business ever passing on the Marketing Costs to any Contractor,at that Rate,or any Cost Whatsoever.This is White Collar Contractual Thievery.and is unusual in this industry,to pass on this much, to Simple Drivers using their own car.We are paying a 100 plus a week, for them to simply Advertise as a Corporation.Co Founder Andrew B.-U should be ashamed of yourself.As u ride the backs of hard working Drivers,all the way to the Bank.What is this?.Are u a Strip Club,making Dancers pay to work at your Club? This is a Corporate Expense,period! Now,If I would have not had my own 2 bags,cord,and not used Sign.This deduction could have been about 200.and I would have owed them money. 2.Certain Dispatchers (there is more than 1)-1st is Expeditor Kiyanah, lacks CSR Skills,and is a very hateful, impatient and negative Communicator.In the limited dealings with her.I was met with disdain and personal attacks,vs answers to elementary viable operational questions.Keep in mind,There is no level of Training relating to multiple modes of Interactive Software.And I have Designed websites,and created POS Software from the ground up.Main question was the coding to ID the rest.to pu from.Many other problems were when I was trying to help out with Corrections on Operations Systems,and Logistics suggestions,based on mistakes on orders,Zero made by me.Other Dispatchers,MY FIRST DAY,Called me back screaming,that they can't be bothered...reading my texts.As these cackling fools gossip in the Phone center,and attack and destroy a new Driver,personally. 3.Driver Mgr. Robert B. that is a former HR PRO.He has no intention to Manage Drivers,Problem-solve,or address Situations using any level of Jurisprudence.Or any effort whatsoever.Once the whistle Blows at 5 pm.Try to find this HR Guy.Now,keep in mind.It is slow for lunch.It is horrible (Where are our Marketing Expenses going?). So,it gets busy at about 6pm to 10 pm.I asked a senior Driver for his cell,and he tells me that ,This is what the Driver Mgr.is for..He would not assist me.Nope, Driver Mgr.going out to the Clubs is Priority,vs any level of Operational Mgmt,or even answers to questions by new Drivers,cause their is no defined protocal.Now try to ween a 9-5 HR office guy into the Rest.Business,and get him to understand the extensive Demands.So,U r an Island.Nobody has any teamwork desire to help each other,even from an altruistic standpoint.He handled a complaint I had about Dispatch- and their rudeness,to never have a meeting,AS PROMISED.To let problem re invent itself,as they would not comm. by text ,at all.He removed me from the board,and Blocked me from his cell,THAT HE NEVER WANTED TO ANSWER,regardless.That was this one-sided non-meeting. 4.Do u want a 130 minute Delivery?More than 2 hours?.This seemed to be pretty standard.But many were far beyond that.No wonder Lunch is not worth working.This is Laughable. 5.In the Short time I was there,Here are the positive contributions I made,that went above the call of Duty. 1) Catering Order was sent by Fax to Rest.Order Prepared and thrown in large bag.All Subs.Fax had continued on a new page,but they missed it.1 person missed their Lunch.Cause it does not say 1 of 2,or 2 of 2.I Redelivered,and suggested to Robert.Met with a scoff,even though that is an elementary suggestion. 2) I verified wrong address in Mapping of Multiple starting point Restaurants,They told me,they won't fix it.What software can't put the right address into memory,from a preexisting Client Base?Lazy 3) WP Mex. rest. interfaces by phone.No Paperwork trail for Host to expedite.Grub Hub had picked up my order,and was delivering to wrong place.I called Grub Hub,and helped them.Had Cooks remake order,and Delivered food seamlessly.Of course, there is a solution to this problem from perpetuating,but u have our Ignorant Creatures of Habit, that have no Concern or Channel to Resolve,and structure accordingly. 4) Got in a heated discussion w/GM.When an Indian Rest.Owner and only cook,had left for a few hours,in the middle of a rush.I was told to wait for him by Dispatch.Now I was told Food would be done in another hour,cause they expected him in half hour back.I was there 15 mins.We are busy I gotta waste almost 2 hours?.They finally cancelled the order. 5) I caught a potential CC Fraud on 100 order,and got guys info. 6) Crossed into 3-4 different Districts to help out.All within same day.No extra compensation whatsoever. 7) Corrected over 20 Wrong Addresses,Apts w/o names or Apts.Hotels w/o names or rooms,or LAST NAME THAT ROOM IS UNDER....in one week. In Closing:Me being a Founder/Owner/Mgr/Consultant am overqualified,but willing to help these hardheads out in a PT ROLE.This Invaluable Experience and Knowledge with a keen Problem-solving Ability, is looked upon in a Negative light,vs the helpful, worthy Respect,and Recognition that it deserves.And is what this Business needs, in so many respects,Not in Exclusion of Marketing Strategy.When u, as a CEO,think u know it all.Then u are not a progressive Analyst,An Idea Man,out of the box.And your usefulness has become obsolete.
