I purchased a $1500 horse off of Donnie Mullins January 21 2016. He comes across horses often so I told him what I wanted in a horse which was the following: age 4 to 7years old, 14 to 15 hands tall, racks at least 22mph, only color exclusion was white, did not care about gender, and had to have a brain. So on January 21 Donnie calls me and states he just bought his friends horse which was the "best broke horse in the country and will go every bit of 22mph". He said he had three people interested in him so I needed to hurry up and make a decision. The weather had been bad down his way so he offered to meet half way; and also another snow storm was coming. So we both drove about two hours and met in gas station parking lot. The lot was Icey and neither one of us was willing to ride the horse on this ice. Donnie did have a video of this horse going down the aisle way of his barn but it was hard to make out on his little phone screen. Donnie stated several times in front of my friend if I wasn't happy he would refund money or get me another horse because I was hesitant to hand over the money. After talking with Donnie several minutes he assured me I would love this horse or he would make it right, I gave him the money and home I headed. I got home at midnight and jumped on the horse. My barn is 100ft long and I could not get horse to gait a lick. I text Donnie immediately and told him I didn't think the horse was right in the rear and couldn't get him to gait. Donnie said he was in need of shoe job but I told him that wasn't it. I rode him next morning outside and he was a flaming idiot crow hopping and bucking. I could not get him to go straight even with leg pressure and spurs. I played with him for about 20 minutes and put him back in his stall. This is not behavior of the best broke horse in the country. Donnie said fine he would find me another horse in another day or two. Donnie only responded to me approximately six times from January 21 until mid April; out of those six times he promised me a new horse five times all via text messages. I have written proof of all communication with this man. Mid April I was going to pick up a horse down his way. I text and called multiple times the day before, no response. The following day I called and called until he answered as I was passing his exit. He finally answered and offered me a horse he had on the internet for$1150. It was white, over fifteen hands and was a slow gaited horse. All three things I specifically did not want. I told him I wasn't interested and I didn't have his original horse on the trailer. I was coming back down his way April 28 so I called and texted the day before to let him know (fyi we live four hours apart). No response so I called and called until he answered and he proceeded to curse me out and never call his phone again. Also told me to shove the horse up my you know what. So please beware of Donnie Mullins!!!
