Don wood will finance scam you!!! fraudulent tactics to trap consumers. We walked into don wood with good credit. Leave with vehicle. Don wood calls back couple days later. Says bank won't fund deal. Demands to send new contract. Sends new contract to us. We refuse. Then another new contract is sent to us and we refuse again and just agree to pay for the vehicle ourselves. Don wood refuses to accept our payment and demands we pay a higher price.
The truth is don wood has been writing buyers orders and contracts wrong on purpose knowing which banks will deny to funding do to incorrect contract formation. Don wood managers try to place blame on bank and then customer when in reality it was don woods malicious attempt to collect on higher contracts. This is called automotive fraud. Read your risc agreement and understand your rights as a consumer. There are other complaints like this against this dealership.
You need to decline to do any business with this dealership. They have double digit lawsuits and many many complaints online. They will make you feel safe and the transaction is %100 and it is not even if you offer to pay yourself.
