Paid half off to do a concrete job. No show for months. Asked for money back. He showed up one day for 5 hours, broke a gas line while smoking a cigarette and nearly blew my house up with 8 people inside. Fired him. Asked for money back. Already spent money, and no repayment. He spent every dime of the money and would not have had any money to pay for materials had he been asked to finish the job.
Sued him in Broomfield Court and won a judgement against him. He is to make monthly payments to me, but he does not. You must sue in the location in which the contractor lives. Courty system only gives a judgement, and does not do collections for you.
Learned the guy has a cocaine addition from former landlord who evicted him.
