Diversified Consultants, Inc. Reviews

Where do I begin? Diversified Consultants Inc. AKA DCI is a place a use to work for not to long ago. I was let go due to a four second call (totally my fault) At First...... When I started DCI it was fun. The training team is absolutely amazing and the love what they do, you can tell. Their objective is to make you "feel” like family, to make you "feel” welcomed, and to make the company seem as if it’s the best. Now like anyone I fell for it, I was dedicated, I was in disbelief that a company is actually this relaxed and cool. More over...... DCI has well over 300+ employees between the 2 buildings in Jacksonville. Parking is HORRIBLE!

All these numbered spots we CANT park in otherwise you Car will be towed at your expense. As much money as DCI makes and as big as the Company has gotten they need their own parking lot. Now off-site parking is an option, I’ve actually tried it however it sucks! 500.00 (250.00 extra on your check if you surpass you budget & ops goal) in fee (towards ur budget) a month is what they are willing to give you for it (not bad unless you don’t hit budget) Pay........ As far as the pay went it’s was personally a pay cut for me it’s starting around 11.50 an hour, 40 hours a week, (not bad for someone with not bills) they also had some pretty good benefits, the Aflac is my personal favorite.

Environment....... As far as environment goes the other collectors (90% of the company) are pretty cool. It’s a LOT of different personalities and attitudes in one room which can get pretty fun sometimes. As far as the Assistant Managers they are AMAZING they are all trained well and some will really make it far up the ladder of DCI. However, (gulp) the Supervisors (not all but most) are No good! Drugs....... I have seen plenty of post and comments about the drug problem at DCI. Well that is a sensitive topic for some. Mark passed away 2009, CZ passed away in 2018 shortly after His and Mark’s mother.

Now I am unaware of how or why the mother passed but as far as Mark and CZ it was a Drug Overdoes. As far as the collectors if DCI went in to do a mass drug test on all of its employees back office, general managers, collectors, owner, EVERYONE, VERY FEW of those drug screens will come back good. NOW PERSONALLY WHEN I STARTED I DID TAKE A DRUG TEST IT WAS OPTIONAL. When I was asked if I could pass a drug test by one of the SVP’s he went on to inform me it’s optional and if I know I can’t pass I wouldn’t be in trouble, my job would not be affected.

Walking through the office after break time was crucial, you smelled weed on EVERYONE! A couple mths later the project that I was on made it mandatory for us collectors working the project to be drug screened. Let’s just say I’ve learned 4 different ways to pass a drug test, from fake pee, to jello, to detoxes, to a lil bleach never killed anyone. Supervisors even struggled to pass drug test, the smoke shop down the street was making a lot of money those 2 weeks. Did it all work? No! Some really good collectors drug screen care back bad. Fired? Nope, just moved to a different project that didn’t require a drug test.

So little so say drugs are extremely present in DCI (for now) and if you need to buy drugs you don’t even have to leave the parking lot. Same thing with alcohol, need a drink? Go to the trunk of one of your co-workers and your good, (No worries you can buy a chaser and a snack in the break room) If all Clients the Diversified Consultants Inc. represent required drug test then DCI would really suffer and fall.

Money....... Recently not to long after CZ passed DCI’s CEO Gordon Beck iii who just celebrated 20+ years with the company and just passed his one year anniversary as CEO this past June was fired effective immediately. Reason being? DCI was still losing a lot of money even after downsizing it’s supervisors and some of the collectors the CEO was fired and everyone else was "ensured” thier jobs would be safe (if the CEO isn’t safe, what makes you think would you be?)

Personally even though I’m gone I’m happy Gordon is too because when that man gets drunk the truth comes out as well as his inappropriate feelings too. All in all, I harbor no hard feelings for DCI. Though I personally would not recommend anyone apply to DCI, do not get sucked into the pipe dream that they sell you, don’t get caught up with the drugs, alcohol, strip clubs, money, etc. DIVERSIFIED CONSULTANTS INC WILL CONTINUE TO FALL AT THE FEET OF IT MAKERS BECAUSE WHAT IS DONE IN THE DARK ALWAY COME TO THE LIGHT! Best regards & best of luck to them all!

In 2014 I terminated my verizon internet service do to terrible service. The line was so unstable I could not complete an Amazon transaction before it froze. After numerious service calls (and several weeks) they finally sent out someone to physically check the lines. The conclusion was that the old "Burlap" covered wiring had to be repressurized, and an appointment would take weeks, I cancelled the service with an assurance that my emailed would not be disabled untile a date of my choosing. That evening all 5 of my verizon email accounts were inaccessable. Prior to canceling my (previous) Verizon landland in 200X my new (and old) accts were enrolled in "Autopay" through my credit card. A DCI notice stated I owed $153.77 without any supporting dates of types of service on the document. A DCI rep stated the charge was related to VIOS from 2005. On many occasions Verizon reps have told me VIOS is not available my building.

my Verizon cell service is through my daughters account. The DCI rep mentioned that I could pay off the charge for a nominal fee. In the meantime, A verizon rep should be contacting me shortly. Can's wait to speak with them.
