Disney Movie Rewards takes aim at the little guy. I recieved an email today Nov 22, 2015 telling/theatening me that I was about to lose my points apparently because it has been inactive. But the reality is that on Nov 10, 2015 I entered a "magic code" from the dvd Inside Out. So my account has been inactive for all of 12 days? They cheated me out of one of their special promotions and now they want to cheat me out of my reward points again because they hide behind a veil where you can not contact them directly. Supposedly they can cancel your account at their discretion, but they need to exercise some discretion in how they treat their customers.
Disney movie rewards .com has for the second time since I created an account with them deleted my reward points earned by buying Disney movies due to longer than normal inactivity.
Our family buys only movies we like and Disney is no exception. When we do buy a Disney movie we tend to buy the ones that offer the points for collection to use later on things from their website Disneymovierewards.com .
I find it to be very hard to believe this is anything other then punishment for not logging in, as they do not delete the account for inactivity but just your points, that were being collected for a few years!!!!!! in our case.
Life is fleeting, I have 2 kids one is 5yrs the 1yr. I have more important things to do than log onto a website just to make sure i haven't been robbed.
If anyone else has had this problem please speak up, their actions are dishonest and are only making them rich(er).
in conclusion i think their policy for removing points that were earned with my REAL money that i worked hard for is bad business.
