Worst vacation ever. October 2020 disappointing on all fronts. This is way busier and crowded than the middle of summer in a non Covid year! If you want to ride the star wars rise of the resistance ride think again.
Disney is letting so many people in the park with nothing to do. If you plan on coming here for the new Star Wars ride, rise of the resistance, then DONT BOTHER. You will be disappointed. We tried getting passes for it twice at 10am and 2pm. Both sold out within literally 2-3seconds. Ours showed our group and had a button to reserve then when we pushed it an error message came up. There were several families in our group and not a single group was able to get a reservation.
As for the other rides it took 2+ hours to get on tower of terror where they only were running a single elevator. The falcon ride too just as long. All in all a whole day of waiting in long lines only to go on 3 rides the entire day. All shows and parades were cancelled. There was not much to do other than waste more money eating in the park so we left early.
We went and complained to customer service and they basically told us too bad. Tried calling too and I’m convinced Disney has just turned into a very greedy corporation at this point. Very far from the good experiences I have had in the past. They don’t seem to care anymore and just want to pack in as many people/dollars as they can no matter the cost.
All this happened in what should be their off season in October in a Monday, not even a weekend or holiday. I had way better experiences here in the middle of summer in a weekend when Covid didn’t exist vs now.
We went to universal studios the day before and they have handled the Covid policies much better than Disney. Even on a Sunday there we were able to hit every ride we wanted to without having to wait very long and the rides were far superior. I wish I would have booked an extra day at universal I stead of Disney.
