When he admitted this fact, he gave me a choice of cutting a section out and welding the seat base to lower the seat so the swivel will operate or pay return shipping (over $50)and a 30% restocking fee. He ignored the fact that the drivers seat base on this van can not be cut down because Chevrolet has a large fuse box under the seat.

In 2013, I bought split bench front leather seats with console to replace the one in my son's 1997 GMC pickup. The model of the seat was a Lanair.
The internet pictures looked great.
When we got them I sat in the seat before installing and I thought they were not very comfortable. I almost
sent them back but thought that would be a big hassle and maybe they would get comfortable over time. I should have
sent them back!
The seat back was as straight as a board not curved like the pics showed.
Anyway, I kept them and now 2.5 years later they are in worse condition than the 15 year old seats
I replaced them with. The console is painted with some kind of plastic paint that has rubbed off showing the
black base plastic base material. Crappy! It's not a solid color plastic! The plastic paint is VERY thin.
Not only that, I just realized that the headrest is COMPLETELY NON-FUNCTIONAL. It does not tilt forward
so you can rest your head on it. In fact, if you lean your head back until it touches the headrest you are looking
straight up toward the sky and there is NO ADJUSTMENT to change this. USELESS. I thought maybe my son
installed the headrest backwards but NOPE!
These are absolutely the worst seats I have ever seen. $1400 down the drain!!!
