Discounted Wheel Warehouse Reviews

Bought 4 custom rims (made in China). Three had an acceptable number of flaws. But one had 14 flaws (bubbles, scratches, even an embedded fiber), so I contacted them to arrange an exchange. They asked me to take photographs and email them. I did that. Rang them 8x and emailed twice over 2 weeks to get their decision. They kept putting my calls on hold over 10 min, and hanging up on me, forcing me to give up. On 9th call I was finally told they rejected my request.

Contacted the manufacturer (Verde), who agreed to exchange. After sending the rim, they kept saying I have to wait for the replacement. After 6 months of this, I sued them. Currently awaiting outcome.

I bought tires and wheels from DWW for my vehicle. The wheels looked good and arrived in a timely manner, HOWEVER none of the wheels fit my vehicle. The center bore was 1/4" too small on all 4 wheels and the bolthole pattern was wrong on at least one. I took measurements and photos and provided them and a drawing to Dan, the Customer Service Sup. He said he needed to perform his due diligence and verify they were wrong. I am a Mech E and machinist so I am confident my measurements are correct. He promised to call back several times but never did. I gave DWW every chance to correct their mistake, yet they did nothing. Luckily, the credit card I used investigated the dispute and returned my money. But I will never do business with DWW again, and urge no one else to.

Purchased a tire and wheel over the phone with Martin. Placed the deposit. Confirmed the shop had the tire/wheel. Drove on spare 30 miles only to get there and wait over an hour to be told it was a liability issue to sell me one wheel/tire. Salesperson came out with toy car to tell me how tires work because he had gone to school for tires. W/E. They could sell all 4 tires and wheels other than that they could not let us leave. Customer service girl enters to tell us they will make it right by refunding my deposit which has yet to hit the bank. They promised a tow home but after 45 minutes no tow. We left because we were left to either purchase all 4 or nothing. They took my tire. If they had looked closer they could have seen that the wheel was fine to use and only a tire needed to be installed. Left and went to a local place and had new tire put on and all sensors checked, and they threw in an oil change only costing $153 as opposed to the $800 quoted to us. I am a woman and they tried to take advantage of that. I was with my son who is Black and they discriminated against us.

Dealing with these guys is a NIGHTMARE, especially Sarah!!! They sent me wheels that were guaranteed to fit then did not honor their fitment guarantee and stuck me with $3k in wheels I cant use!!! I'm in the midst of a credit dispute trying to get my money back from these crooks.

I have a stock 2009 C63 AMG and wanted 19" Rohana RF2's. Eddie at Discountedwheelwarehouse… guaranteed fitment on the 42 front and 47 rear offset wheel (by calling Rohana) so I purchased them and got an invoice for those part numbers. 45 offset rear wheels showed up which I discovered later. I put the wheels on and the rear wheels just barely hit the brake calipers. I called and reported the problem and they wanted me to put 3mm spacers in. I said NO because I'd be down to a ridiculous 42 offset in the rear (which rubs) when I purchased guaranteed fitting 47's. So they reluctantly authorized an RMA.

I then called Rohana myself to make sure nobody was making any stupid error anywhere. Rohana still claimed they should fit. I sent photos so all parties saw they didn't actually fit. At some point I ask the expert at Rohana (Mike) about the performance package that came with my car stock. I know it has double slotted front disks but the rears should be the same.

So the next day Sarah at Discountedwheelwarehouse calls and informs me that she has canceled the return shipping labels and that they and Rohana will not accept a return of the wheels because I didn't disclose my car had the performance package, lol. (Not that it should matter but after further research the rear brakes on my car are the same as the ones without the performance package.)

I try to explain that almost all cars have various dealer options and that my rear brakes should be the same and that they only asked for make/model/year prior to their fitment guarantee. Sarah didn't care, she claims my dealer performance package is like an aftermarket upgrade I should have told them about. She says I'm stuck with the $3k tires and wheels that don't fit.

ROHANA AND DISCOUNTEDWHEELWAREHOUSE ARE DISHONEST AND INCOMPETENT THIEVES. Be wary of doing any business with these companies. They have some good reviews here but those are where nothing went wrong. The true test of a company is how they deal with mistakes. If you do business with these people and they make and error, YOU WILL PAY FOR IT.

If you have been burned by the Discountedwheelwarehouses fraudulent business practices please join me in filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, The LA County Department of Business and Consumer Affairs, and the Federal Trade Commission.

Just hours ago, while driving home, I heard a loud sound and my car jerked over to the right. Luckily for me, I was only driving approximately 30 mph, possibly less because I was slowing to make my turn. I struggled to gain control of the vehicle and nearly missed hitting other vehicles that were on the road. As I slowed to a stop, I realized that I was riding on the rim. I thought my tire had blown.

After getting the rim off of the car, I realized that my rim split. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? I have had these rims for about 2 months and less than 3k miles. I cannot understand how a morally sound company can sell such a dangerous product!

I have contacted them for a refund.

This company is a complete scam. They say they sell discount tires and wheels. They don't. The initial prices may be lower than some competitors, but when you factor in shipping cost, it typically is higher than purchasing it locally. The owner has so many different business names that it's hard to keep track of which one is which. He is also going through a number of lawsuits because of his fraudulent activities. The company heirachy is all family members. Total nepotism here. They also have CNC machines on site to drill certain wheels for customers, but no one is officially trained to use the equipment. None of the product they say they have is ever in stock, but they tell you it is and then call back and say "Sorry, they're not available but we have this instead". This is after they collect CC info also. They also have an auto repair department, but i never saw one ASE certification posted anywhere in the building or the techs showing they are certified. People constantly quit so they never have the same people working there. Former employees are forced to take lunch breaks 6 to 7 hours after their shift starts.

All in all, do not do any sort of business with this company. Stay away from them. It's a total rip-off.
