I am Brazilian and bought in Digital Outlets.net, on 18th September a Canon EOS 5D Mark III camera and a lens, and requested that the delivery was made in Orlando where I have been stayed until the 9th October. As nothing was given to me, I asked again, after several attempts and waiting on the phone, to deliver my order in New York, where I would stay until the 17th October. Unfortunatelly the goods were not delivered and I had to return to Brazil. After this, a friend of mine went to Tucson and I requested again that the products would be delivered to the hotel she was staying and nothing. I had already requested via email to cancel the purchase and return of the money paid, but as usual there was no answer. So everything is looking like I was virtual victim, a coup. I paid $ 2,248.00. I hope that the company is responsible and give me the amount paid very shortly.

In may of 2016 i decided to upgrade cameras and order a canon 5ds. Being a person who likes to do research before buying,i did the usual online search. Wow digitaloutlets.Net seemed to have the best bang for my buck so i ordered it.

My call from customer service stated that i ordered the japanese version of the camera thus the cheaper price. Not true considering the ad doesn't state anything about any version variances. The person stated that if i wanted the camera, that i would have to pay more for the american version.

Being anxious to get this fabulous camera, i agreed. Then i was told that i should get the extended warranty that totally cover the camera no matter what. Considering the cost i figured i should do that and agreed. I was told they were going to expedite shipment and would have it in a few days.

The next day i received the confirmation email with tracking information. They obviously do not carry any product in stock. The tracking information was for shipment to them and not me.

Two weeks later i call because there was no activity on the tracking site, and i had not received my camera. I was told that i woke up on the wrong side of the bed and need to calm down. Really? I just spent $3500 on a camera and have nothing to show for it!

A month later tracking started to show on the ups site showing shipment from brooklyn ny to granite bay ca. It was signed for by the employee that gave me crap on the phone, chernaya.

That's theft plain and simple. Too bad there is nothing that can be done. Yet

This company called digitaloutlets.net sells counterfeit cameras and will tell you they are the real thing, when in fact they are knock-off products. My daughter purchased a high-end Cannon camera, which was 10% to 15% under the retail price. She thought it was going to be good deal. It turns out this is not indeed a digital camera from Cannon, and Cannon officials stated that DigitalOulets is not, nor ever has been an approved vendor of their products.

After receipt of the counterfeit camera, my daughter called to ask why this wasn’t the camera and model that was advertised. They responded that she was “full of crap” and continued to insult her. After lots of back and forth, they finally provided a return authorization code, however they needed a cashier’s check for the return in the amount over $400.00 for restocking fee. Moreover, there is no physical address for this company; it runs out of P.O. number, which is very suspect. Especially, since one can’t return product with a tracking number form Fed EX or UPS. Everything is done through the US postal service. Never use this company… save yourself the hassle of having fraud claim filed by your credit card company! This company should be black-listed from selling on the internet. These are not good people.

Stay away from digital outlets.net

They got my money for a Nikon digital camera. I called them every week. They gave me the different shipping date every time I called them. The last called - they told me: "it is shipped to you. The tracking number will be available in 72 hours before delivery..." . I am still waiting and waiting... Be careful with this website

I have placed order with Diditaloutlets.net At the beginning I payed $1,348.00 for 2 items that are Nikon D610 digital camera and Nikon Nikon AF-S Nikkor DX 18-300mm G ED VR Lens. When several days later I called them to find out my order status I was told that I bought wrong items. They told me that Nikon camera is made for non USA use and made of plastic and does not have a USA warranty, And Nikon lens that I ordered is not for digital photo camera but made for film camera. I wanted to cancel order but I was told that they are going to charge me 10% for cancellation and if i want to buy correct items I have to pay additional $729. I payed this amount as well. Now on their site they are giving tracing number but when I went on the UPS site it is written that label was created but item is not shipped yet. I am unable to find anything out by phone because the put my on hold and never return to answer my questions. So now the total price I have payed is $2077 and I an not sure if they are going to sip my order at all. when I call them

I am put on hold for ever. When writing them emails they answer me call us immidiatly. They mail me UPS tracking number. UPS sayung they just

FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center, Federal Trade Commission, I notify

This unfortunate scam site showed up during my google search for Canon 5D mark iii purchase. The price was of course very good so I called them before ordering the camera. I asked them what's the catch? The scam artist Chris said its an import model. As in may or may not qualify for US warranty but everything is SAME. I ordered the camera. They were lightning fast to take the payment of course. Two weeks later after the scammers failed to provide any tracking number, I called them. This con artist tells me I ordered a Wrong camera. Ummmm what? I was like, "Dude you were literally on the phone when I ordered it". This guy then tells me this is a "plastic body" version of 5D mark iii and has only Japanese language in it. As in the menu had ONLY Japanese language. I was awstruck by the audacity of this con artist to even come up with stories like this. I realized I made a grave mistake but did not want to hang up in anger missing out on any chances or retrieving my hard earned stolen money.

So I asked him the solution. He said he had a better solution and better camera than 5D mark iii with metal body.....: yes folks he told me 6 D is better than 5D mark iii and 1Dx mark ii. He said he will even throw in a STRAP for free!!! Wow! The same camera strap that comes with EVERY camera for free in the first place. So he sold me 6D (just body) for $1899.00. My sincere heartfelt appeal to every person out there, please do Not buy or even visit this site. I wish I could legally do something to those scam artists.

This business is a ONE MAN SHOW SCAM ARTIST , his business is all about scam and taking peopl's money. They offer 60% off products to attract customers, when purchased, you will get an email after week to call and confirm your order ( huh really ? ) when called, expect to be on hold for over 23 minutes , they will inform you that the Camera is not the US model version , if you still agree, then he will tell you , well, it's after market camera. He wants you to cancel the order so he could charge you 10% . So this business will make profit by charging 10% cancellation fee, not by selling products .. 92% of the customers will accept the fee. Then they will advise you to wait 2-3 weeks for the refund. I was wondering why they would hold people's money ??? By the way, this guy has more than 3 websites, I will find them all, soon.

FBI Should investigate and prosecute this owner..

STAY AWAY FROM TOO GOOD TO BE TRUTH DISCOUNT PRICING..

I'm normally cautious about buying from NY camera stores and check addresses before I order. However, after checking the only phone number I could find for DigitalOutlet.net (310 area code is in LA) I went ahead and ordered a lens from this crew for which they went ahead and charged my credit card a few days later. When it didn't turn up after a few days I gave them a call. They said that they had been trying to email me and needed "confirmation" of the order. Since there was no email anywhere on the server, including the spam, the only way emails could have been blocked would be if they were trying to spoof their address. In any case, I was told the lens should be there two days later. Of course it never turned up. So a week later I phoned again and was given the exact same story, except an email (to an alternate address) would be sent with the tracking info. Neither the lens nor the email turned up. Once again I call back. The guy on the phone, who is very rude by the way, says it will be here next week. So again I asked for the tracking number and he says it will be provided 48 hours before delivery. So obviously it had still not been shipped at that point. Without any good arguments to fall back on, just lame excuses, the guy finally says, "OK I'm canceling your order and recalling it from UPS." Obviously complete BS. Bottom line is that they had my money for 4 weeks and the evidence points to them never having shipped anything. I filed a dispute with the CC company and will mark it up to experience. Take my advice and avoid these scammers like the plague.

I order a very nice camera on their website for a very low price. The camera did not say it came with a lens but in the picture the camera is displayed with a lens. Also, on the website some cameras are displayed without a lens and in the description it reads, "body only." I tried to contact them 3 times before purchasing but no response. I didn't want the lose the deal so I purchased anyways. When I called him to confirm and talk about my options for what I purchased, I asked about the "lens that comes with the camera."

He told me it was just the camera body and when I tried to explain why I thought otherwise he started yelling at me! I could not get a word in. I would try and explain or ask a question and he would cut me off with some insulating remark about how I was a poor cheapskate trying to get something from him I didn't pay for. I had to talk to him like a child just to get him to calm down. Once I did he then sheepishly explained to me that the model I wanted has Wi-Fi capabilities but camera I purchased did not, and that I could upgrade to that one for $200 more.

At that point the deal was no longer appealing to me and I said I would take a refund, to which he would charge me 10% of my order for processing it. Nothing about this website or company is legit or honest. Even if he has the product he can lie about everything and then just collect 10% from refunds and make a killing. HE. IS. STEALING. No mistake about it and deserves to be prosecuted.

I order $5,000.00 worth of gopro cameras with the intent of exporting them and never received my merchandise or my money back , the website says they're in Avalon California but they're actually located in Brooklyn New York.

"BEWARE!! These are a bunch of crooks! They don't ship the correct items, don't respond to questions, and steal your money! I ordered 2 cameras and 1 lens from them. I received the first camera okay, but it was a cheaper version than was advertised on the website . The second camera took several months, and many, many phone calls to get. The lens was never received - they sent me a very cheap model, not what I ordered. I sent back the cheap model, and they have refused to refund my money. I have been scammed out of $900!!! Don't use this company - use a reputable seller instead. What seemed like a bargain has turned into a nightmare."

After checking into the price of a 6D camera I realized they were over charging me so I returned it and paid a restocking fee of $400 as it was still cheaper to get a 6D elsewhere. They refunded my original $1243, but have not refunded the additional $1756. It has been over 8 months and they refuse to refund my credit card. They basically have scammed me for $2156 and are a bunch of crooks that should be in jail. Be warned that using this company is not advised.

This company, Digital Outlets, suckers consumers in with really low prices on products and then sells you something else that is really overpriced. Not only that, when you return the item you are charged a restocking fee of 10% or more and you may not get your credit card refunded completely as in my case.

Specifically Digital Outlets advertised a Canon Mark III camera for $1243, a rediculously low price. After I purchased the camera online they called me to tell me the camera was in Japanese only and proceeded to talk me into purchasing a Canon 6D cameara for an additional $1756.

I should have researched more, but after looking into it I found they were significantly over charging me for the 6D. I returned it along with a $400 restocking fee as the 6D is available for much less even with the restocking fee. My bad for not looking into it before the pruchase.

However, Digital Outlets has still not refunded my credit card account the $1756 over 8 months later. I have got the credit card company involved and still can not get resolution to my account refund. Bottom line, buyer beware when using this company and they should be up on charges. This has been made even more difficult because I am across the country from them, probably a part of their method of operation.

I had been researching and online shopping for a zoom lens for my camera. Digitaloutlets.net had a great price and the company reviews showed a high level of customer satisfaction so I ordered the lens.

They charged my card immediately, then I received an e-mail saying that it was MANDATORY that I call them. I did. They explained that the lens I ordered was for a film camera and that I needed to upgrade to a more expensive lens for it to work with my camera. I authorized the charge and was told my lens would ship that day.

Ten days later and still no lens. I call and ask about my order (after a 30 minute hold time). They give me a tracking number and promptly hang up. I look it up online only to see that it hasn't been picked up from their warehouse. I call back and wait another 20 minutes to talk to somebody. The same rep answers the phone, recognizes my voice and seems irritated that I am bothering him again. I explain the situation. He puts me on hold and returns five minutes later with apologies and a promise that they will 2nd day air it to me 'with lot's of extra stuff. Cool.

Five days later I call to follow up on the package I still have not received. The same rep answers the phone. I ask him what's up. He tells me UPS has lost my order and he'll get another one right out--and deal with UPS for me. I don't believe a word he's saying but I want my lens so I decide to wait it out.

Four days later I still have not received a lens and I call back. I am then told that my lens was on back order. I wanted to know how you can back-order a lens that supposedly has already been shipped, No answer other than "I show that the order is scheduled for delivery today. I'll e-mail the tracking number to you." No tracking number...no package.

I did some deeper research to learn that I had ordered the correct lens because NIKKOR never made this one for a film camera. It was a classic bait and switch and I fell for it. The ironic thing is that if they would have just sent me the lens as promised I would never have realized that they were taking advantage of me. I don't want anyone else to be duped. I am now dealing with the Fraud Department of my bank and will hopefully see my money sometime in the near future because, God knows, I'm never going to see that lens.

Don't let this happen to you.

STAY AWAY from this company and its yelling/rude customer service!!! they have this "verbal approval" scam emails cluttering your inbox while they retain your money for a long time and they you are aggravated by their customer representative so much all you can do is cancel- so they charge you 10%!! OMG!!

I purchased a camera kit 8/1/15 and received my email confirmation (NO STATEMENT OF ANY "VERBAL" CONFIRMATION NEEDED ANYWHERE!!!) order apparently went thru fine and yes my money was taken from my bank account. They don't even have this verbal policy confirmation as you order thru their website. There is something in their customer service tab-- however they charge 10% cancellation fee. basically they don't deliver, upset you beyond measure and then charge you 10% for any cancellations.

great way to make business, right? they will make 10% of any cancelled purchase.! even if it was not delivered---so it is not a re-stocking fee ; it's basically, we;F$#@;# YOU anyway.

I had to travel abroad during the shipping period but was counting on the equipment to shot a wedding. Needless to say, the equipment didnt arrive.

I starting receiving emails (10 total) to have me call THEM to confirm "VERBALLY" my order. As you can imagine this flag the trasaction as a scam all over. I emailed them back while abroad confirming it was me who placed the order and to please rush it for my event or i would have to cancel it, as they did not met their shipping time frame.

I finally took time off work to be ABLE to call them during their work hours, and "VERBALLY CONFIRM" the order...i had already read bad reviews for this company and became more concerned.

After waiting 15 mins on the phone for ;Customer Service, i was ready to confirm; and I asked the man what was that verbal confirmation of my order about? he very rudely responded, it is a verbal confirmation policy our company has. I asked the question again, trying to make sense of it, i have been purchasing online for YEARS! and never had such a thing happen, he started yelling at me, saying IT IS OUR COMPANY POLICY!! DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY EMAILS WE SENT YOU???? i told them yes TOO many! i just wanted my camera. He continued to YELL over me talking. I Could not believe his rudeness! I asked him, Excuse me! are you customer service?? i am the customer here asking a question! It was unbelievable- then trying to shut me down he asked do you want to confirm your order. I said NO! i do not want anything from your company. I have never been treated so poorly! TIME wasted, who know how long it will take me to get my $600 back, but i will certainly give NO business to such a crappy and shady company! on top of it they charge 10% fee for all cancellations! no wonder they piss you off so you cancel. STAY AWAY!!!
