My wife and I recently purchased two digistream boxes at the Ohio State fair. When we walked into the main hall we saw small crowd around some television so we walked over to see what it was all about. They gave us a quick minute demo of this little box that seem like it was doing some kind of illegal streamlining and they proclaim to be able to give us absolutely Everything that we are currently paying high dollar for for free. They said we can get all cable channels like HBO and Cinemax, All PPV would be free, Sunday ticket for NFL free, and so much more. I didn't ask many questions because everybody else was doing it for me. People ask is it legal they reassured us that it was. They asked how is this different from Corentin and so much more. Another person asked what we had to do when we got it to our house and his company said all we had to do was plug it in it was ready to go. Most of the crowd walked away I decided to take my chances and I bought two of them. I did ask if there was any discounts for buying two or more and they told me no so I paid $558 for two plus taxes. They handed me my two boxes and sent me on my way. That evening I put together this box only to find that I had to install this thing called a wizard and it was supposed to help me install all kinds of apps and programs so that I could even use this box. Those d**n scam artists told me it was ready to go and that was not true. I tried several hours that evening to try to get this box up and running and the only thing that I got running was my blood pressure. They gave me this number for technical support so I called them and left a message and I left at least 8 more messages over the course of three days but not once did they ever call me back. After spending over 20 hours trying to get this thing working I called it quits and decided I was going to return them. I box them up one of which was never even opened and still sealed. Friday morning I paid to get into the Ohio State fair again in order to return these and when I got to the booth the same two men were present. I told them I wanted a full refund and that I felt like I was being scammed. These two guys were not very knowledgeable, got very mean and cocky with me telling me that there's only a one day return policy and that they could not offer me a refund. I argued for 15 minutes but it was against the law to only have a one day return policy and that the recession law states three days. They got mean and nasty and because they argued about returning the product that was only 40 is old they lost all of the crowd that was around them. I have since spoken to my credit card company and explained to them that I tried to return this product and they refused to allow me and so I have done a chargeback on my credit card. I have never filled out one of these reports before on any company but I want everybody to know they are for s**t, the product is a joke, and they will take you for every dime that they can. The guys that represent the company have absolutely no knowledge of what they're selling or how it works all they care about is making money and telling consumers what they want to hear in order to make a buck. Any company that stands behind their product will have a couple week return policy not a one day and they would also put it on their receipts. So be fair warned everybody do not purchase from this company!
