On 30 May while I was buying my 5th new Hyundai, a d**k smith Hyundai Salesman asked my married daughter out for a date and told her that the price that we pay for a car would depend on how well their date went. My daughter told him taht she was happily married and not interested. He then increased the price from $19,450.00 (the price that we had agreed upon) to $20,450.00. I did not find this out until 4 days later when my daughter told me and her husband what had happened. I contacted both the General Manager of d**k smith Hyundai of Greenville, SC and Hyundai Corporate Office and told them what had happened. The Corporate claims they are investigating and the General Manager told us that he was firing the employee.
If you look on their website their employee Lancehammondtre is still listed as a salesman there. I also told them that they owe me $1,000.00 back that they over charged me. the price of a car should never depend on a female be required to date their employees! I have filed a compalint with d**k smith Hyundai of Greenville (nothing has been done), with Hyundai Corporate Office (nothing has been done), with The better Business Bureau, The Consumer Affairs Office and the Governor of South Carolina (she is also a female). I am Retired US Army and spent 2 years in the USMC and also am a senior Citizen. If I would have known on 30 may (Memorial day Weekend) I would have knocked him out! I have bought 5 new Hyundai and will never buy another one. Any company that treats females "like a piece of meat" will never get my business again.
