D**k Clancy met his mutual friend in BC to help him out in getting a boat ready for delivery. d**k was not hired for anything. Mutual friend purchased an ipad and d**k helped with work on a boat. d**k provided a $1000 bill for his service, old friend couldnt pay it immediately. d**k slanders all involved (and not involved) as harrassment to receive pay for something he had done as seemingly "helping" his old friend. d**k was paid and the complaints continue. I would not recommend doing business with d**k Clancy (James Clancy) if you need anything boat related in British Columbia.

Sean Keating of Breakwater Yachts contacted me numerous times by phone looking for assistance to take delivery of a boat and to get our mutual friend Bob Hoyt to a remote village where the boat was located. I finally undertook to Pick Bob up, put him up at my home and then undertake the 2 1/2 hour (one way) drive to Ucluelet where the boat was located, stopping along the way to pick up two large fuel tanks all the while using my truck. I then worked for two days hauling D8 Cat batteries around and up and down stairs. When it was realized that they didn't have the proper electronics to make the trip I sold them my IPad with all the charts. Mr. Keating was to be responsible for paying any expenses incurred to get the boat to Mexico. I even arranged for a skipper who he also ripped off. He waited until the boat was delivered then decided it was time to renegotiate the skipper's wages. This while she was stranded in Mexico. Bob Hoyt of Mag Bay Outfitters also got ripped off by this guy. Keating then has the nerve to insist that I was simply volunteering my time and the use of my vehicle, my IPad and my fuel. When was the last time you did all that for someone for free Sean? Mr. Keating has paid nothing towards what I was owed. Bob Hoyt and Toby Larocque have paid me a portion of what I was owed as then could but they too are victims of Keating.
