My car had a cylinder 1 misfire so I brought it to my local shop. There suddenly my transfer case went? Just bad timing I guess, right? They installed another without success. They decided to tow it to the specialist to see what was going on... Dibbles boasts that they have factory trained technicians. 40 years of experience and all the latest expensive diagnostic equipment. Dibbles said the new transfer case was bad, so another one was procured. They then said it ran fine but needed this part then that part.. this went on for weeks to the tune of $3700. Well at least it was fixed right? Nope. The original problem of the cylinder misfire was still there AND the 3rd transfer case was BAD plus the hood was peeling. I drove directly to another mechanic who fixed the misfire for $271 and is replacing the transfer case that dibbles installed... and said ran perfectly. They were extremely condesending when I called suggesting I did something on the drive to the next mechanic to the transfer case.
