It's leader Bertin Bonjawo is a bad leader, misogynist with questionable business choices. The combination questions the organizations process for collecting donations for the teams it boasts about and its mission.
We have witnessed Bertin Bonjawo's demeaning conversations with women, staff members and potential donors. For an organization with a Godly mission, he appears to believe he is God and displays irrational behavior when people ask any questions which leads to suspicion about his transparency of his business choices.
His interactions with women border on sexual harrassment and discrimination. Many are afraid to express their feelings because of his terroristic like threats or simply leave the organization. At first meeting, you would believe he presents the kindest, polite disposition but when challenged displays an abusive tone especially towards women.
Mr. Bertin Bonjawo tries to bully donations and pretends to be a fortune 500 CEO requesting people to bow to his requests or else. There are no negotiations. Someone needs to remind him he's in a democratic country where everyone's voice male or female should be heard. Furthermore, a leader should have a balance of diplomacy and a firm hand on business. He does not appear to be able to handle that balance. Eventually, it will overshadow the wonderful work done for the organization and its mission.
Mr. Bertin Bonjawo hosts a gala which is really just a dinner. It lists esteem members of the international community and high profile guests that are probably unaware of the issues surrounding the organization.
It seems like a reorganization of his position is desparately needed as Executive Director and Board before legal issues occur damaging the organizations potential.
