GARBAGE CROOKS

The coach brought kids from his team and gave them all starting positions! Only worked with his kids while mine and the others stood on the sidelines! That coach Tex never once put them to the test to see who earns their spot! He made sure nobody but his boys got play action! And Don Britt allowed this! It’s all a set up they already know who is getting mvp way before your son arrives! They mixed the grades they gave us old used uniforms no hosts cameras mics etc.. but claim to get your child exposure all lies! My son team won the game and received the cheapest medal with a D1 sticker on it! No trophies! It’s all set up for certain coaches and kids to win. My son said it was a boring football camp instead of a all star event! No speeches no intros etc... Do Not take your son unless they are going with their coach that’s the only way kids get shine time nothing fair about diamond sports group period! A waste of time money and energy. BBB gave this crooked company a grade F! All Donn Britt cares about is money and that’s why they’re falling off! This company is made up of money hungry phony fake lying people and I want all my cash back F diamond sports group and that coach Tex They all garbage! On Jesus!

Diamond Sports Group is a scam! They invite kids to play in big football games out of state. Charge a lot of money for registration and make promises that they do not follow through with! We paid over $5000 to fly to Virginia for a week of practice and 2 games. Although my sons team won the championship, they did it without his help. My sons coach came from Delaware with 6 of his own players. They started and had the positions they chose. My son plays several different positions, which the coaches were aware of. They put him as safety, he’s never played that position yet coach didn’t seem to care. He had 2 games and a couple quick plays and that was it. My sons dreams were crushed. When voicing my concerns, I was deleted from the group. Very unprofessional, I wish I would have looked up reviews before going

Don't fall for all the hype!

Organization "claims" that you're competing against the best of the best, however in my son’s case it wasn't. He was on a team with kids who didn't know what the heck they were doing. Some kids were out there staring off into the sky. One kid told my son that he didn’t have to make the tackle for oncoming opposition if it wasn't the person he was told to tackle, thus just letting kids run past him. It was clear that some of the kids were just out there as fillers. They didn’t have the drive or the know how to be a true asset to the team. I wondered how kids like this were even nominated and approved to play in a supposed high skill level game. I realized after the game that some of these kids' parents knew the coaches and that's most likely how they got approved to play in the game. More than half of my son’s team was just below average on their level of skill, nowhere near "the best" as they claim to have. Some of the kids were rostered at one position (the main position they play at home), and practiced something completely different. Some of the kids practiced one position for 2 days and were told to play a position they had never played on game day. That was a true set up for failure. The coaches continued to play kids who they had ties to (with below average skill level) OVER kids who were clearly more skilled and qualified to play. You almost had to laugh so keep from crying or bucking on the entire organization. As a parent, I was very disappointed that we paid money for my son to compete in what was supposed to be and event showcasing the best, but instead showcasing mediocrity, thus lowering the excitement and experience for those who really WANT and DESERVE to be there.

They also had small awards assembly after each game where they choose 2 players with automatic invites to the VEGAS West VS East game and 2 others as MVP and overall MVP. I would think that they chose players who played the hardest and made the biggest plays on their team, but nope…no one knows how they chose those players for my son’s game, because the biggest playmakers weren’t even acknowledged. Instead they gave these awards to kids who had MAYBE a handful of decent plays, but not game saving plays or anything that would WOW you.

I'm also baffled at how they choose their coaches as our coaches came from schools with average or losing seasons. (Found this out once I knew who the coaches were, but I tried to remain positive) One of the coaches had a son on the team and continued to play and start his son at a position he should not have been playing OVER other kids rostered in those in the same positions as his son whose skill level was far superior to his son. The NEPATISM was so blatantly obvious, it struck the nerves of many of the parents throughout the entire weekend. There were many unhappy parents at the end of our game. I understand that it’s a game and they’re kids, but once you’ve invested thousands of dollars (registration, hotels, car rentals, gas, flights, food, etc.) and lots of time, you expect some sort of a return. Unfortunately, they failed to deliver what they promised which is a weekend playing the best of the best and rewards for the best of the best. Both were epic fails.

If you're just looking for your son play football outside of the season and you have extra time and money to throw around, than you've this is the place.

December 2018 we decided to experience the "DIAMOND ALL AMERICAN SPORTS GROUP" in VA Beach, VA. It was and still is the worst experience by far. First off, we paid over $2k in expenses, hotel we were required to stay at was $200+ a night or we would have to pay and extr $100 not to stay at a diamond resort, the player fees were over $400 and the items received were the cheapest items I have ever seen in my life.

At registration day we received a broken backpack, can not be used at all!! We were informed by DON BRITT that we would get a FREE replacement bag after the event, never happened. Instead we were told to pay an extra $40 for a bag we already purchased and it was defective.. We get to the event and they had all the kids outside in 2 degree weather practicing while the coaches were all late. We had a banquet that was a dress up event and no food was served, 2.5 hours in a room with no foods, 1 hour after practice (which we drove 40 minutes to hotel and back to banquet so no time to eat).

Don Britt made every speach about himself and nothinng was really for the kids. Not to mention them running the clock during some penalties and stopping the clock during others, when the clock is supposed to be a running clock. (the president was running the clock and the opposing team was from his same town, whom he personally invited to come coach, so we lost due to cheating, which ever single team that was from the same area as the president of diamond sports group just happened to win every single game..? shady??) We also ordered a sports group All American football ring to have as a keep sake.. We placed our order on 12/19/2017. It is now 2/27/2018 and have not received any information on the rings or when we would receive them. Mind you we paid over $180 for these rings and still no word on when we will get them.

Don't try calling the sports group, they will NOT answer!! They will email you back and if you seem to be upset, they will end their conversation with you immediately and not speak to you on any issue. Still wondering where our rings are!! You are not allowed to film or capture any part of the games that you paid $20/person to see, not including the $2k in expenses to get there. You are however aloud to purchase a $15 dvd that has 1 game on it and it will not be labelled. So you will not know what game you received or going to watch unless you label it yourself..

This organization is a scam and my son had the worst experience and has begged me to not do this again.. They will rob you blind and not back up anything they promise you. They will argue non stop about processing times and dates even though they send you different information from the start.

DO NOT PUT YOURSELF OR YOUR CHILD THROUGH THIS EXPERIENCE. YOU WILL BE STRESSED OUT AND WONDERING WHERE YOUR ITEMS ARE THAT YOU PAID FOR MONTHS DOWN THE ROAD!! DON BRITT IS THE WORST EVENT HOST I HAVE EVER MET AND IS ALL ABOUT HIMSELF AND WHAT HE CAN DO FOR HIM OR WHAT MAKES HIM LOOK BEST.. HE IS NOT ABOUT THESE KIDS. THE PRESIDENT IS MONEY HUNGRY AND DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE FUTURE OF OUR ATHELETES. THIS ORGANIZATION ONLY WANTS MONEY FOR THEIR "NON-PROFIT" ORGANIZATION!!!

This organziation is only about money. They claimed on Christams Day (2 days prior to the start of the games) that they were notified by the National High School Association that they were not allowed to play any games for the 9th graders. This was a pure lie. The association confirmed that this was not true. We did not attend and requestd our money back. THey responded by saying children from NY could not play ( I have kept all correspondence). This was also a lie. 4 days after this, they also decided to charge my credit card $165 for a ring in a game that does not exist and we did not attend. I also have that documentation. They did not respond to emails and their phone numbers are straight to voicemail. The BBB is the next stop. DO NOT ATTEND a scam. IT is justa glorified practice.

This all American organization is a waste of money. There are no set rules other than all children must play before halftime. This means you can literally pay 450 for your child to get one play in the game. My son got 2 plays. To begin, there is a 450 base pay to participate. These are quote on quote the best of the best players across the country when actually it's who has 450. Next, there is a 50 convience fee for not staying at their hotels of choice. Next, you have to pay for tickets to watch your child play. I have 2 playing so I had to pay 40 for myself and my husband because they played on separate days a 6th and a 3rd grader. Their head coach told them going to the meet and greet affected their playing time. My son went but that was another 27.10. Also, my son had to change his number as well as 2 other kids because they didn't take the time to check the roster before we arrived. The uniforms are nice. The pep rally was great. I loved how they emphasized on good grades. I spoke with the coach to express my concerns during 4 th quarter. He said it was too late all they could do is try to let him play next time for free. I spoke with the owner Donnell Britt and I admit I was loud but at that point . Another coach had lied and said my son told him that his head was hurting that's why he didn't play. I told him my son played all of 10 seconds. He told me that was highly unlikely. Which was true he played longer than 10 seconds. He had two plays to be exact. He said they needed to watch the tape. People do not pay for their child to warm the bench. They gave us a uniform , socks , gloves, lanyard, a medal, and a book bag if you signed up early. My son has went to camps and games that cost more money than this and really enjoyed himself. This whole experience has been terrible and to make it worse the owners comment" if your child played 10 seconds then I'll give your money back" shows exactly what's important when it comes to these kids. Money and not the experience and exposure.

The Diamond Sports Group offers these All-American games, where the players selected are supposedly the best in the US, and supposedly noticed by their recruiters at other events players participate at. For the event my son was selected from, it was at the Pro Football Hall of Fame this past July. However, the recruiters did not visually see him play as they claimed. They acquired a list from PFHOF. They also have their coaches bring players from teams they coach outside of this organization. My son played this week at the 13U level. His coach brought his coaches from his No Limit program, as well as at least eight of their players. Many of them were clearly not All-Americans.

During practices, the focus by the head coach was only on his players he brought with him. The coaches did not try to learn what skills the boys had on this team. Some players were put at positions they did not sign up for and were not listed for on the roster. Other players got little to no playing time, yet their parents paid $450 plus travel costs for them to participate. The CEO and president argue and belittle anyone that attempts to bring issues to them. They will also pull children off the teams if their parents express frustration with the program.

Also, we were all told to bring toys for the organization to donate. The organization made well over $400,000 on this event alone. They could have easily donated on their own with all the fees that were paid. Once you get there, you also have to lay for everything. You must pay per day to enter the field to see your player participate, if he even gets playing time. You are now allowed to record. You have to pay $25 for a disc for each game that your child plays in. This should be included with the fees paid. There was no media as promised. They aired the games on their Facebook and Instagram accounts, but they advertise that the game will have national media coverage, like it is with a legit TV channel or network. There were also zero scouts there, yet they try to get players there by stating they will have this exposure. We should have listened to the high school coach in our state whose football teams are always the top in our state each year. He said to stay away from Diamond Sports Group. I guess we chose to learn the hard way.

Stay away from this organization. Find free youth camps from colleges, or football programs that are sponsored by major brands. I am hoping to save someone the money and grief that we lost and endured.

Did everthing they ask for refund filled paperwork from doctor took pics of his ankle allowed the time they ask for just to get nothing but promise after promise that a check has been cut and mailed.

Now all i get is attitude that the lady im comunicating with is forwarding all emails to the right people and there is nothing she can do. I understand that they might need to keep a portion of the $400 for there time and effort but looking for the rest of the refund.

First they said 9th grade would have a game. We drive all the way there we find out they cannot have a game, so they called it a controlled game. They said they had just found out 9th graders couldn't play a game because of eligibility in some states. I know for a fact they knew about this because 4 years ago, they made sure all patents checked for their respective states for eligibility prior to getting to Myrtle Beach. This time they didnt want to pay back the players that couldn't play so they rode it out until everyone arrived. Then they broke the news. What a waste of time and money. Then they said there would be scouts fromm all over. I think one showed up. They false advertise. They lead parents to believe that they could possibly get a look or offer from a college, etc. This company needs to shut down. They are false advertising and misleading the public.
