I ordered a 30' x 40' metal building with two rool up doors, 8 windows and 2 exterior doors. I ordered door openers with my building. It took three months before they even came out to start the building process. After the building was constructed and i inspected it the two outer upright beams were leaning way out of level. To which the installer came up with excuses that the welding of the parts were done incorrectly. With the two uprights being out of level i now have a dip in the roof where water just poors off the roof line right over one of my roll up doors.
The sheeting for the siding was not cut correctly and does not fit properly. The two exterior doors do not close correctly and were not plumbed square. These doors do not seal properly. The garage doors were installed at a later date since the guy who installed the building did not know how to install the doors.
Once the door guy showed up two weeks later he said he could not set the doors up for a garage door opener since the building was built to short and he does not have enough room to place the hardwae so the doors will work properly. They did give me back to money for the openers but now i can't use this building with any automated doors. Very disappointing. The guy who installed the roll up doors is from their own company and said he would file a complaint and try to get this fixed.
I have made several phone calls and emails with no success. They talk on the phone like they want to fix the problems but it has now been 10 months and nothing has been resolved. I feel very violated in the business dealings with this company. I paid cash for this building which i guess was my first thing i did wrong. Will strongly consider using another company for their metal building needs so they don't have to experience what i and others have experienced with this company. It's a very sad day when a company treats a customer this way.
They have no integrity on their word. The sad part is: the issues of the building could be resolvedfor in about a half a day with two guys. They did send out a few guys to attempt to fix the roof issue but their resolution was a jack and a beam. They were going to put a steel beam on a jack and try bending the roof to where it would be straight. I stopped that action as this would bend and break other parts of the building. We are talking about needing to lift the roof by 2".
You are going to break something needing to move steel that much. The roll up doors would have bent and the tracks for the roll up doors would not have worked. The guy who came out was not going to loosen the tracks for the door before bending the beams. I work in the construction trade. Trust me when i say this. These guys have no buisness being in business from what i have experienced. They also left all the scrap materials laying all over the place and did not clean up any of their mess.
