Attorney James H. Q. Lee has attempted to extort funds for the preparation of an Intermediate Appellate Court petition which he and his law firm were not retained by me to prepare or to file in court.
James H. Q. Lee, Esq., and his law firm represented Lionel Martin DuPont, not me. Lionel Martin DuPont authorized attorney James Lee to represent him and to prepare a petition to be filed in the Intermediate Appellate Court.
Attorney James Lee abused his power and position as an attorney to file a baseless Interpleader Motion which halted the inheritance I am entitled to by law.
James Lee, Esq., as my former attorney prior to being terminated by me for dishonesty and incompetence in the first action in Probate Court has abused the privileged information he and his law firm possess as my former attorneys to manipulate the legal process and has filed an Interpleader Motion against me for Lionel Martin DuPont’s legal expenses to their law firm, extraordinary costs incurred by Lionel Martin DuPont not by me.
Attorney James H. Q. Lee’s abuse of the legal process created a bi-nary choice for any rational human being litigate or negotiate a settlement. Any rational person that has ever litigated against a law firm recognizes that the economic cost of litigation which could potentially be greater than the benefits to litigate would be by definition an irrational choice thus any reasonable person confronted by this dilemma would negotiate a settlement. Accordingly, I attempted to negotiate a settlement with attorney James Lee and his law firm but no avail.
James H. Q. Lee, Esq., has filed an Interpleader Motion which contradicts the facts and obfuscates the truth. Attorney James Lee and his law firm have consistently misrepresented me and in their representation of Lionel Martin DuPont permitted an elderly man to agree to a settlement which contradicts two and half years of litigation, which contradicts every petition, every motion we filed In Probate Court and essentially indicts my father Lionel Martin DuPont for perjury and fraud.
Attorney James Lee has misled his clients and the courts in the State of Hawai’i in an attempt to manipulate the legal system and abuse the legal process.
