Deva Jatt Transport Ltd Reviews
I was working for that company DevaJatt Transport Ltd. from June 09 2016 to June 23 2016 and they never told me that I don't receive any Payments for my Training as Truck Driver. Even if they would say it doesn't count because everybody has to get paid doesn't matter if in training or not. That is what Labour board told me. The process time is for ever eventually it can takes years until I will receive my money.
Back to the topic:
I had a Trainer who has just 3 Months of driving experience. A joke in my eyes and dangerous as well but anyways I drove an very old truck what has more defects then I ever saw I my life.
The window on the driver side doesn't close to 100%.The Inside of the truck was a whole mess. There was a big water Jar standing between the driver seat and passenger seat. That water inside this jar was to refill the water for the truck in emergeny situations.
The Steering of that truck was so hard that it was impossible to park the truck with trailer properly. It was completely stiff. Boss said that is normal by that truck until he parked that truck by himself then and just then he was willing to send this truck in repair. After the repair was that problem solved. The other issues were still the same and didn't get fixed at all even when I told the boss these. He said if I would give you a truck what has no issues then you would never be able to solve these problems by your own and you wouldn't know what to do. I(The boss) had driven a truck what had every day trouble with something and he had to solve that problem by himself. (I'm asking you the reader, how can it be that a truck has every day issue what has get solved? When that issue got fixed the day before then that doesn't exist anymore.)
After driving for that company a few days then they send me with other drivers out as co-driver.they had themself also no experience or just little experience about a month to a couple months if i was lucky with that guy.
I had to drive to kenora from winnipeg to a company to pick up a trailer. My co-driver had less experience then I had at that time and he drove the first way just with the truck over there. I hooked up the trailer and drove from there back to winnipeg. The trip itself was ok.We just got lost at the end of the trip a bit but we solved it by our own. Then after parking that special trailer( Container trailer had just at the end of the trailer each side one tire) on the yard, we were done for the day with work.
After 2 weeks working for that company I asked my boss in person directly with surrounded co-workers when I get paid and he answered You get free training. I was thinking then: Should I pay you for that or what?My pecific question to him was then Do I get paid for my Training here? I can't pay you for training my boss said. I asked him why?
Because I have to pay Insurance,Fuel, your trainer if you damage the truck. I was then thinking at that moment: These are your normal expenses. That has nothing to do with me. But then my boss said also make a decision if you can drive to U.S. or not now. I told him then after thinking about it that I need more training then just 2 weeks.
After just having the experience from driving in the driving school and here 2 weeks now going to drive to U.S.? No thank you I want not having big tickets or accidents just because of my boss his solution to solve problem Nr.1 not want to pay me at all for training. So I told him then No, I need more training. He answered then that i can't provide you.It costs me to much money. I was thinking then: How can it cost you to much money?I was working there for free and that was not enough?
That day was then my last day working for that company. I'm happy that I don't work there anymore but still I want get my money from this company what I was working for.
