The ONLY payments on time that Desmond Rene Smith had ever made, was for first month rent and security deposit, so she can move in. Subsequent rent payments that Desmond Rene Smith was supposed to make on monthly basis by means of bank deposit to a bank account, were always late, until they finally ceased all together.
Shortly after moving in, Desmond Rene Smith had started housing number of people in our unit that were NOT on lease, including her boyfriend - Amerigo Vespucci Jerome Bethea - who earned his own article on here for charging USD 213.00 to our account for his purchase at William and Fudge, and also all the Uber charges these two had made to the same account when they had finally moved out. The unpaid bill for electricity to Duke Power doesn't really concern us, since the debt stays with whoever's name was on the account, not with the property. Only God knows if Amerigo had at least figured that much by now
According to the neighbors there was a heavy traffic day and night, arguments and yelling ALL the time. What used to be a quiet neighborhood, these two turned into a nightmare as soon as they moved in, we have never received so many letters from the HOA in such a short time, as when these two had lived there.
Desmond Rene Smith had moved out only days before we were going to file for eviction, which she was aware off, otherwise no doubt, she would have never moved out. With her disappeared our washer and dryer. See images of the unit which was fully renovated end of 2014, shortly after Desmond Rene Smith had MOVED IN. And for comparison, images of the state the condo was found after Desmond Rene Smith had MOVED OUT. Completely trashed and vandalized. Each light fixture, each door and each wall - BUSTED. The entire place reeked of weed and it took 3 months of airing the place to get the smell out. Aside from all the trash, Desmond Smith had left behind a lots of mail, addressed to about 20 different people who registered our condo address as their residence. Rest of mail the mail in her name were collection letters.
If you consider leasing to Desmond Rene Smith, be aware that NC laws are NOT landlord friendly at all. Even the cops tell you to &*%## off because to them it is a civil case, despite the fact that the unit was clearly used to traffic weed.
