"Michelin Joness" emailled me with an offer of employment claiming to have seen my resume on a government website. She told me that they would pay 1400-2800$ every two weeks for an Online Service Manager position. I checked online and they had a running website so I replied.
She requested an "application form" requesting my address and a reference. I saw no harm in this, it seemed normal to me so I submitted this information while continuing to check the company. When I tried to call the number listed on their website, it didn't seem to work so I emailed Michelin back requesting a phone call. She replied back with "we get alot of calls in our office so right now we will only communicate through email. Once you're hired, I will have "someone" call you. They then sent another email requesting my Bank name, Holder name, email address associated with my account as well as a phone number. This seemed extremely fishy to me so I continued researching and looked up the REAL phone number for the address they listed.
I then found a gentleman with the same name their website listed as their CFO, so I called and asked to speak to him. I told him the situation and he told me to absolutely not provide ANY information to them and to steer clear of them. So I did.
