So I decided to give it a try. A pop up occurs on check out, that says I must also purchase undereye serum at a discount plus shipping. So I went on with the purchase with the total being $10.90. But my credit card was charged $10.90 and then 15 days later an entry of $94.65 and $95.75. This was no where explained in the offer, or in the confirmation*
Saw ad pm Facebook from Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart. Filled out the application and when I checked out it said I had to purchase the eye cream. Shipping was all I paid for a 14 day free trial offer. It is getting close to the end of t he 14 day trial and I go to contact them and find out it is a scam. Never will I order anything else from the internet or anywhere else. When you go to contact these people they are cordial and very helpful. Even give you a conf. # to cancel. Next day you get the products in the mail and your checking account is charged 94.65 and 95.75 for the products. I have notified my bank and am waiting. What if someone did this to your Mother, wouldn't you want a recourse action? I'd be ashamed to take advantage of people this way.
First I got an e-mail from Walmart telling me that I qualified for a some free products due to my shopping history. So I checked it out. The only product that interested me was a wrinkle removing facial cream and all I had to pay was shipping and handling. I proceeded to order the cream giving them my card info ,and then when I tried to check out of the ad , a pop - up told me my order was not complete without the free wrinkle reducing eye gel. Again all I had to pay was shipping and handling for the eye gel also. The total of both shipping and handling was less than $10.00 so I said what the heck and agreed and checked out of the ad.
My card was charged the small fees for both shipping and handling for the products and received them both in just a couple of days. Then about 14 days later, to my surprise ,my card was charged $94.00 for the facial cream and $95.00 for the eye gel. I called the company and asked for an explanation of the charges and they informed me that after the 14 day trial I am to be charged the $94 and $95 as stated on their website myfacialcream.com.But I didn't order from their website I ordered thru a link from a Walmart site and none of the 14 day trial or the $94 and $95 charges were disclosed to me or I would have never spent so much for a facial cream. Dermatone"s customer service rep. told me it was too late to get my money back and if I wanted to pursue this further I would have to contact them thru e-mail at support@myfacialcream .com.
I checked out their site and the charges and conditions of the purchases concerning the 14 day trial and $95.00 charge are quite clear on their site "myfacialcream.com" but remember I didn't order from that site. I ordered thru a link from a Walmart site and none of those conditions were communicated to me, only that the products were free and that I was to pay shipping andf handling.I also tried to contact them at [email protected] and all it does is sends me to the main website. In the meantime I'm out a grand total of about $190.00. My bank, however, is being quite helpfull in this matter . I'll see how it turns out.
Please beware of these scammers. They use links from other bigger sites such as Walmart and don't inform you of their terms and conditions.Who the hell is going to pay $95.00 for a tiny jar of facial cream or $94.00 for eye gel.
Dermatone Facial Cream by Harrison Ford & Calista Flockhart.
Rating is 1. This facial cream company is a real scam. I was on Yahoo News and saw an ad showing Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart had started a company. I applied for facial cream and when I went to check out I had to add the eye cream. Both trial size for 10.54 combined. You had the option of cancelling after 14 days and that would be the end of it. But to my dismay I called the Dermatone # on my bank account for the shipping chgs and they did not have my name or email in their system. I looked on the bottles and got the names of the products and went online to search and found out it was Vieva Eye cream and Dermagieo Face serum. on my bank for the eye serum the phone # they gave me I called and it was a financial inst. for student loans programs. Can you believe it. I knew right then it was a scam. I got the the facial cream on the line and spoke to a woman named Betty called twice, both times she told me they would send me an email with confirmation number for cancelling my account. Haven't received an email or anything else. I live on Social Security and if they take the money from my account I am up the creek. My rent, utilities, everything will not get paid. And all those bank fees and hassles of filing reports and all for a measly jar of eye cream that has my eyes almost swollen together and serum that has left big red blotches all over my face. I hope they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. But people like that are ruthless, they would take food out of a baby's mouth for their own gain. I am ashamed that I fell for such a scheme. What would they do if it happened to their Mother or sister or Grandmother? They will be punished, believe me, for duping so many people into just paying shipping then taking so much money for such junk.. Makes me sick. Thank you for letting me post my complaint. I am in the process of working with my bank to try and recoup but I have learned my lesson. No More Buying Products off the Internet. Walmart has all I really need.
I have seen the add in FB on my phone. I decided to give it a try. A pop up occurs on check out, that says I must also purchase undereye serum at a discount plus shipping. I didn't want the eye rserium but was still sent and charged for it. So I went on with the purchase with the total being $10.90. But my credit card was charged $10.90. f you order from a smartphone, you are never informed that the trial expires in 14 days and they will charge your card for $94.00! and then 15 days later an entry of $103 and $104. This was no where explained in the offer, or in the confirmation.
I have called them but the agent didn't want even to hear me, telling that I am an adult and have to read terms !!!!! no !!!!! nothing was said in the trial if you purchased on smartphone

I am 76 years old and i am not interested in spending almost $200.00 for some facial products. I was introduced to this con for being a good customer with amazon. They gave me a choice of 4 items which i was not interested in. This order was only supposed to cost 4.95 and i guess shipping and handling for the cream. I did not order the eyecream, i did not check off that box. Now this company is trying to bill me for almost $200.00 for these two items. They have already gotten $15.00 for it. I'm sending both items back. Now they state that i have to cancelled within 14 days, i just received the items and it not even that time frame.
I decided to give it a shot so I agreed to pay shipping for a free 14 day trial. After reading it said after 14th day card was going to be charged 99.00 for one thing 99 some for something else. I called the number on the site to go ahead and cancel free trial. Wrong number. So I emailed them. I received an email back stating order was cancelled and confirmation #. To my surprise I received an email this morning my order has been shipped! I called the 877 number to borealis and they said it had not been cancelled. Please be careful. I am gonna continue checking bank acct to make sure nothing more is takin out. IT IS A SCAM THROUGH A THIRD PARTY!!
