ordered skin and eye cream, which was advertised with 14 day free trial, on Jan. 10. Paid shipping of $4.95. Rec product about 9 days later. Read all labels no where mentioned auto ship. Not mentioned when I ordered by phone. Charged 88.36 on Jan. 28 from checking account. When I called was told free trial
started from order date, and I checked a auto ship box (which I did not). Refused to refund money, was offered a discount to continue auto ship. I refused, and advised them to not take any more money from my account, canceled all future orders. Was given two cancellation numbers. One for eye product, and oner for face cream. They face cream cost had not yet been deducted, advised not to take funds from my account. Did not have a 14 day free trial period.
They never sent the free samples, but waited until the window was gone to cancel before they sent the full size and charged $89 and change twice for 2 different products. I never would have ordered these as they're ridiculously expensive, just wanted to try the samples. There is no contact information anywhere to call them until you get the full size package so I wouldn't have been have to call anyway to cancel and the email they send you is no reply. When I called them they said that I didn't cancel in time so they charged me and sent the full size. Then they kept saying that they'd give me a 25% discount and so on until I yelled and said that I want a complete refund and nothing to do with their crooked company and they gave me a return auth number. I sent it back, have the proof that it was received and no refund. I called and they said they never received the whole thing so will only refund half. I sent it all together so their employees may have taken it.
I orederd a free trial but paid postage for two creams. One for the eye area and one for facial. It is to remove or at least decrease wrinkles. Agreement said I had a 17 day trial period. I ordered it on the 22nd of April they sent it out on the 26 and I received it on May 1st. On May 9 they charged my account $88.76 and $89.93. So, I really only had a an 8 day trial period. They even said it would be delived in 2-5 days but it took 9 days to get here. In the terms section it did say the trial statrs they day you place your order but if they do not honor the fact that you should recieve it in 2-5 days then the agrreement should be void. I called the on the 9th to cancel because the product did not live up to the expectations presented. I said I wanted to cancel it and they said oh no you will have to pay the amount because your 17 day trial period is up. After a tense debate I was finally offered 75% off. I still was not happy. I felt like I should have cancelled the day I received it with no trial period because they took to long to get it to me. I would call this a scam!
This product is a complete rip off and nothing but a huge scam. I ordered the free trial moisturizer and free trial eye revitalizer on July 10th. I paid separate shipping charges for both and low and behold they came in the same box and did not arrive until July 18th (8 days later).
Today, July 27th, upon checking my bank balance discovered that on July 26th I was charged $89.93 for eye revitalizer and today was charged $88.76 for the moisturizer. Total charges $178.69.
I called customer service and they stated that I agreed to a 17 day trial and then would be charged the full retail price for the products when I ordered. Know where was any of this information when ordering the free trial was this information disclosed. Also, there was no information about cost or 17 day trial charges included in the packaging, only the packing slip with the products listed.
I told the customer service representative that this information was not disclosed to me and that I wanted a refund and would be returning the product. They offered 35% off the full retail price, even if I returned the product. I said no I want a full refund since I'm returning the product (at my cost), I was then offered 50% off the full retail price. Again, I said no I wanted a full refund since this was misleading to begin with. I was then offered 75% off full retail price. At that point I demanded a full refund or I would be contacting my bank to stop payment since the charges were still pending. I was then told that they would dispute the stop payment as per their agreement, however, they would be willing to issue the full refund but would take 5 to 7 business days. I then told them that the refund better be back in my account by tomorrow or I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau. I was then told it would take 3 to 5 business days and that it would all depend on how my bank does their posting.
After my call I received email notification that my account was cancelled, then another one listing the refund amount for one of the products. I called back again to verify that I would be receiving both refunds and was provided transaction id's for both refunds.
So much for a free trial tha I have only been using for 9 days and was misleadingly charged $178.69, 17 days after ordering.
I definitely will be going back to my $60.00 a bottle product that will last me about 2 months.
