I called the call center and talked to a young man by the name of Brian, and asked him how did a 14 day trial sample offer of $4.95 turn into a $190. charge on my card? imagine my surprise! But he offered up no excuse at the time instead tried to over talk me my saying how good the product works.
I responed by saying I have my rights as as a consumer and I 'm entitled to a refund, especialy when it's something that I didn't agree too. And thats when he informed me that they have a no refund or exchange policy agian imagine my surprise! the information he was telling me was clearly not disclose on the web site.
And because of the underhanded way they conduct there business by not giving clear and concise information, I feel I was taken advantage of and entitled a refund!!
I purchased Dermafolia skin creme trial products for $4.95 and $5.95. My statement also included two charges for $94.57 and $89.47.
I called the company. Their representative said I was liable for these charges because I had accepted their terms when ordering the trials. I had to cancel within 14 days or I would be billed thes higher charges.
Representative said this was stated in their "Terms and Conditions" . I just checked their website and did not see this information nor did I see it in their confirmation e-mail.
After I ordered the product, I tried to find what was the cost of the product. I searched the web, but could not find the cost. I did run across information that the company was running a scam. Unfortunately, I could not find a way to contact the company to cancel my order.
I will notify my credit card company. Hopefully they can cancel these charges.
Signed up for a free sample only to incur shipping charges, additional charges and ongoing shipments with more charges to credit card. Product was defective, would not allow return.... even unopened unused bottle, would not give confirmation of cancellation number. TOTAL SCAM!
ordered a 4.95 trial of product that does not warn you at purchase they will chargw you for monthly orders in the amount of $98.71 only place y\this info is is bottom of web page. in terms and conditions which is not shown during yrial order.
