I applied for a job with the wisconsin department of health services. the job title was economic support supervisor. i was a economic support specialist for many years and i have several college degrees and even supervisory experience. the problem i ran into was that most of the people in my position were female/minority. the number of white males was minuscule. when i saw this supervisor job advertised on the state of wisconsin website i just had to apply. i knew they would never hire a white man for this job but i had to test my theory. i completed the online application and submitted it. the department of health services immediately removed the job posting. i didn't even get an interview!
