Originally, "his son" contacted us and gave our number to Nick, the owner. We had two cars that needed repair.
The first one he told us he could take all the dents out, make it look brand new, you won't even be able to tell it was damaged. He said he would fix the front axel, and a few other small repairs. He did some of the small repairs but left our car unfinished as far as the body work and no new axel.
The second car, he touched only enough to make it look like he was doing something on it. He removed some type of exhaust vent under the hood and just left it there ... and that was it.
They never finished the work, and never came back. Nick won't answer the phone, return my calls, nor will he answer my text messages. He took our money -- collected half of it up front ($800) and left us with unfinished work. Definitely NOT $800 worth of work!!
When he came to our home to work on the cars, he was driving a BIG white truck with a magnetic label on the side "Dents R U" ... looks legitimate. He had a younger kid working with him and said it was his son. Not sure if that was the truth. He has a hoarse raspy voice ... tall guy, brown hair, in his mid to late 50's. He sounds VERY nice, VERY convincing and comes off as a really nice guy ... DON'T TRUST HIM!!
Nick is a con man. He offered to sell my brother's vehicle for him and convinced my brother that he had a buyer for his car. Nick got my brother to let him take the keys and pink slip so nick could deliver the car to the buyer, but then he disappeared with the car and won't answer or return calls. It's been two weeks and can't find him yet. He moved from his apartment in Covina but don't know where he lives now. He's in his 50's, fat, and talks like a cartoon character. Very convincing talker.
