I can't believe that I actually paid money to people so incompetant, shame on me. I needed some dental work done and didn't have dental insurance, so I got on the good ole internet to try and find a reasonable plan. How lucky can one get? I happened to trip over Dental Health Services, which is in Western Dentals back pocket.. Need I say any more? Well I will, I have lots to say. How these places can get away with what they do is mind blowing. Just the hundreds of reviews says shut these places down. I go to the dentist and they mess up on my tooth. I'm told to file a complaint with D. H. S. and i do, this being in July 2015. At that time I ask if I should file a complaint with the Dental Board and I'm told that isn't necessary, so I don't. Around November 2015 I'm told to expect a check, so I said "you ruled in my favor?" These people at Dental Health Services have a title and it's called a specialist, why i don't know, cuz there isn't anything special about what they do. The "specialist" couldn't answer me. I asked again if she could mail me a copy of the resolution or the out come of the investigation and once again this "specialist" said there wasn't anything to send me. I'm thinking this is very strange. They are about to send me a check and no one knows why. Hell it isn't even gonna be documented, so how do they keep track of things? Come January 2016 I get my check and there's no explanation as to why I'm getting the check. Don't get me wrong, normaly I couldn't care less who sends me a check, but this time cuz of what I was dealing with regarding Western Dental i had a feeling things were going to go south on me and i'd need backup, which is what happened. Western Dental put me in collections, after their dentist decided to change my visit for a deep cleaning to a root canal. Now that's all good except he gets half way into the process and then determines that they don't have all the material to finish the job. The tooth ends up breaking then needed to be pulled, resulting in having to get a bridge. Now ,my dental plan, the people that I give money to have lock jaw. Suddenly no one knows anything or what to tell me, aside from saying they'll call me back and never do. And oh my God, the hours I've spent on hold waiting to talk to one of these special people, but getting no where. The check I received, what was it for, is the million dollar question. I've thought, well maybe could it have been that they didn't rule in my favor and that the check was for the 2nd place winner, no that doesn't sound right. Bottom line, these people don't make any sense to me and so far all they are good at is giving someone the run around in order to protect the interest of Western Dental.
