Went to have my wife's tooth extracted but it was near quitting time, I'm guessing, because they said they needed a, "Complete", list of all the medications she was taking before they could remove her painful tooth. She didn't want laughing gas so why all the fuss about her medications for a simple extraction? They made us wait for three more days before they would pull it. They attempted to overchage me $60.00 more for the services. It was only after aguring with them about the price that they had already told me it cost that I was able to pay them and get out of there.
I needed their servies again about three weeks later. Another bad tooth. By now I figured they'd come to know muy wife and I since our last vist. The check my I gave them the last time was good. This time he I to leave my wife at their office because I had an appointment at the V.A. Kansas City Hospital around the same time. I gave my wife my USAA Visa card and a pre-signed check for payment. When they finished with her tooth they refused the Visa or the check saying, "We can't take either of these because your husband's not here." My wife had to call her sister and get her to come over and write out a check for them. It was not only embarrasing to her but she had set there for over an hour in their waiting room with a very swollen jaw because it was a surgical extraction. Not once did any of the staff come over to see how my wife was doing. They were only concerned about getting their money and nothing else. This place prides itself on how long they've been there, (Since 1966 evidently) but they fail big time when it comes to making their patients feel safe, secure and trusted. I will never go to this establishment again.....ever. The only thing they want is to schmoose you, get your money and get your butt out of there. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone but if you do go there....watch out when it comes to charging you for services. I have no doubt they'll be adding phoney services to your bill. Dental excellence my you-know-what!
