I immediately emailed them asking them to rectify it and heard nothing.I tried again and heard nothing. In the end ,as I am a busy hgv driver,I left it,deciding to cancel the membership just over a month before the 12 months automatic renewal(due on 16th jan so 4 weeks notice would be 16th December 2016).........To my great annoyance,I see that last week they took ANOTHER £96 out of my bank!......I'm very angry about it and emailed them again as I live in the uk,and yet again heard NOTHING!..........They have had around £150 off me that they shouldn't have had! dentresearch.com.........Harry Dent.
In january(16th) of this year (2016) I joined Dent Research on the internet for their financial reports.I clicked to join their "Silver" membership for around £28. I noticed that they'd joined me up for their "Gold" service at £96(or around that figure).I sent them two emails to their customer services department and heard nothing. In the end I gave up and thought I would get intouch and cancel the membership with 4 weeks notice before 16th January 2017(4 weeks notice is 16th December 2016)........Anyway',last week I noticed that they've taken another £96 out of my bank before I had time to cancel and with NO authorisation to do so.I emailed them again and have again heard nothing. They obviously took the money before the 4 weeks notice before 16th january.Very sneaky! Looks like a scam to me,firstly, signing me up to the much more expensive service, then, taking ANOTHER £96 before they should've done!!!
Avoid any and all marketing campaigns by Dent Research. Harry Dent promotes only doom and gloom stock markets, of which any of his predictions have yet to come true. His snake oil charts and lengthy repetitive commentaries has no credibility towards what the market actually does or will do. Dent and his gang only promote their trading products for large fees that are impossible to recover using their ideas. This is how Harry survives, memberships that must be generated via his constant promoting. This man is dangerous if followed and serious money will be lost and put only into his pocket. His methods involve a constant bombardment of the "crash is near" messages since the 1080's. His best technique is to keep changing the prediction dates. For example, in his book "The Geographical Cliff" written in 2013 recommended to leave the market as the big crash was to be in 2014, also that housing prices would fall 50%. He has been wrong in every aspect of the stock market and has no understanding of this new low interest rate era. His side kick, John DelVecchio uses a useless tool he devised called forensic investor to only short stocks, anyone trading using his advice has only lost money. This coincides with his hedge ETF HEDG that has lost millions for investors for years. Please Google Harry Dent and read what is only negative reviews for this unscrupulous man who has no sense of the stock market. This man is a ripoff artist with a silver tongue. You will loose money listening to anything he has to say.
