If I could give a negative star I would. Where do I begin, it's impossible to get a hold of anyone here. It's a rotary phone system, be prepared to wait a minimum of 45 min to have a live conversation. You also have the option of a call back but that takes forever as well and sometimes never even gives you a call back. We showed up to court and had no idea who our lawyer was, what he looked like, or even what his name was.
We tried calling to ask the week before and the week of and no one returned our calls or answered for that matter. The lawyer that showed up 5 minutes before our court case we met with in a room. He stated he "reviewed our case with his morning coffee" which portrayed to us he barely knew what we were going to do in this court case. He was rude and kept putting his hand up to our faces and would not listen to anything we had to say... mind you this is the lawyer that we are paying for to represent us!!!
He got in front of the judge and the judge asked for papers that he didn't even bring with him. We looked terrible. The case got postponed due to the other party, thankfully. The next court date we had a completely different lawyer, he was way better than the first but we still don't understand why we wouldn't keep the same lawyer throughout our court case.
We were definitely pleased and grateful with the second lawyer we got. He was professional, had a great personality, and knew what he was doing from the start. We even asked for his personal business card so we could go to him directly if we ever needed any more legal advice or help.
The company only calls when they are asking for money, even if nothing got done they charge you for something else and expect you to pay immediately or they won't show up to the court case. This company is absolutely terrible and I would never recommend them because of their customer service and how time consuming the process is just to talk to a lawyer that you hired and are paying a TON of money for. My mom used this Law Firm for years and years but this was before the company got big. Now they're so big they don't know how to handle all the cases they take on. My poor rating is solely for the company not for the lawyer we were given the second time.
I CONTRACT AN SPECIALIST LAWYERS THE LAW FIRM OF DENNIS P BLOCK & ASSOCIATES , TO EVICT A TENANT FOR NO PAYMENT RENT. THE LAW OFFICE ASSIGNED ME A RETIRED ATTORNEY WITHOUT ANY EVICTION EXPERIENCE WHO TO MY DEMISE HAS A SERIOUS HEARING IMPEDIMENT.
THE ATTORNEY SENT TO REPRESENT ME BY THE LAW FIRM DENNIS P BLOCK MADE A TOTAL OF 15 COURT APPEARANCES INCLUDING 5 IN FRONT OF JURY.
FAILURE TO FULLY REVIEW AND UNDERSTAND MY CASE, CAUSING ME LOSS OF INCOME AND UNNECESSARY EXPENSES. , FOR A TOTAL OF 24,200.00

MY LAWYER MR. HOWARD OSIAS AND DEFENDANT'S LAWYER DOMINIQUE N RIBALET WERE SEVERELY REPRIMANDED BY THE HONORABLER JUDGER JOANNE O'DONNELL FOR WAISTING HER VALUABLE TIME DURING AND THE JURY PANEL'S TIME MORE THAN 40 HOURS COURT HOURS.
I AM 68 YEARS OLD, RETIRED, LIVING FROM THIS RENTS , THEREFORE THIS EVENT IS A TRAGEDY BECAUSE IS MY RETIRED-INCOME.
