First they create an ad on Craigslist or some classified. Looks almost too good to be true. {It Is}
They get the paperwork together and tell you how they are going to "Sell" you the home for so much down and so much a month.
These homes like the one I got are usually fixer uppers!
They give you the paperwork all signed and legal.
A couple years go buy. Since you are buying the home you have to fix it up. Roof repair, water lines, electrical etc all the expenses that come with home ownership.
You invest time and money into the house because its yours right? You have the paperwork to prove it.
By they way they never send you any required updates like current status of the loan etc like real banks do.
After years of maintaining the place they hire a shark like "DeMar Realty" that do not recognize that your payments are current and up to date with the mortguage company.
You then come home from work to an eviction notice in the mail.
Now its time to go to court even though you are totally current on yoru payments.

Make sure that you save all your paperwork and reciepts. Fortuantly I did but the hassle of going through court really sucks. Why cant people just be honest about what they are offereing?
