They honor their 30day money back guarantee

Domonic W. Oklahoma City

I purchased a warranty though Delta Auto Protect and was a little skeptical because the price was so much cheaper than their competitors by almost 50%. That along with all there positive reviews.. So I got cold feet and ask for a refund... They simply ask why and gave me my money back within 48hrs..

In march i had repairs done on my range rover, for items covered under delta auto protect. They agreed to pay out the claim which was submitted by my local dealer. Now 3 months later, and multiple phone calls by myself and the dealer, delta still has not paid the invoice balance of 850.00. Every time i call to inquire about payment, they have different excuses, such as the finance department is closed, our computers are being updated, the claim has already been paid, or no one is available to take the call. I've been referred to hector cruz, who never answers his phone, or returns a call. This company appears to be a scam, or doesn't want to pay claims which are covered by their warranty, which costs thousands of dollars to purchase. My dealer will now not accept this company's coverage for needed repairs.

A year later put in and got approve for a claim for $1186. I had to pay it because my repair shop would not deal with them again. The repair was completed in feb of 2019. I still have not been reimbursed. After no less than 8 different occasions they said a check was sent out.

I have spent about 40 hours of phone time being hung up on or being told a check was sent or will be sent. 5 different managers used the same script. About how THEY were going to solve my problem personally.

They have no intentions of paying multiple claims . I am now in the process of filing a claim with small claims in NY. If you purchase a cheap warrantee with them after reading this you deserve what you get. Feel free to contact me lol. [email protected]

Delta is the worst extended warranty service I have ever worked with. This is what two repair shops have told me and will not work with them again.

First issue happened a couple of years ago. The shop called them and provided part they considered considerably substandard and they said they would not cover it if anything went wrong. They then did not pay the shop for months. They told me they would not accept any issue repairs that involved Delta ever again.

I have an outstanding issue I called in about in May. Alternator needed to be replaced. I contacted Delta prior to taking to shop and told shop when I brought car in. They never called me or the shop back. I had to pay out of pocket so I could have a car. This bill was around $800. I have called numerous times to be told someone will call me back. No one has called back. the 4th call in I was told to fax invoice for alternator. I have not heard back. Last 2 calls they said they would mark it as urgent and still have yet to hear back. I am out $800.

Now I have suspension issues. I let Delta know I was taking it in. Mechanic called in the morning and was told there was queue of about 4 hours. 8 hours later they have not heard back. This shop said they have never experienced anything like this in 20 years. This issue is looking to cost around $2200 and I need the warranty service I paid $2500 to cover this like they promised.

The customer service is horrible and goes no where. Looking at recent complaints this company is a sham and should not be in business since they either will not call back in timely manner, or they want to replace parts with substandard parts, or don't cover at all.

The delta auto protect scam

I initiated a phone call with a delta auto protect Dap) salesperson on 2-17-17, and purchased a "premier" auto extended warranty policy via credit card. Almost 3 years later, on 12-17-19, we needed work done on our car so we dropped it off at the dealership, and they contacted dap. On 12-18-19, dap sent me an email requesting all maintenance records, which i supplied to them that same day.

On 12-19-19, i called dap and spoke to justin turner x408 to make sure my documents had been received. He said yes and gave me a claim number. He also said an inspector would be sent out to the lincoln dealership within 24-48 hours to see if the repairs lincoln proposed would be covered. A few days later, i called again since the inspector had not shown. The agent now said we had to wait 7-10 days.

I called on 12-31-19 and spoke to aaron x 407 about why no inspector had shown, and was told “apparently there was no inspector available in our area.” we live in the huge metroplex of dallas fort worth, so i knew that wasn’t true. This same scenario went on and on, day after day, call after call.

I called and asked for a supervisor and was told there were no supervisors there. On another occasion i asked for a supervisor and supposedly got one. As i was explaining the situation to her, she hung up on me. Another time, an agent said our claim was being escalated to david wright x512 in the authorizations department. When i asked to speak to him, she said “they don’t take calls.” i asked for his email address, and have emailed him 3 times - with no response.

On january 9th, again we were promised that an inspector would be out on a specific date, and when that day passed, we called again, and were given another date. This happened more than once. When challenging another rep, nicole johnson, on january 13th about all the agents parroting the same script with no evidence of progression, she hung up on me.

It now appears our phone number has been flagged, because now when we call in, we wait the usual 20-25 minutes for someone to answer, and then we are either promptly put on hold endlessly or hung up on.

We in good faith paid $2000 up front for this bumper-to-bumper warranty. Dap made a promise to perform, and they have not done that. Dap is in breach of contract because they have failed to perform in a reasonable amount of time, and have been willful and negligent in their behavior with no legitimate reason for not honoring their contract.

After combing the internet for reviews, i found hundreds of others who are currently going through the same situation as ours, and this is when we finally realized this company is a scam. Because of that, we finally paid to have our car repaired after it had been in the shop for 6 weeks waiting on dap’s “inspector” to show, knowing that would never happen.

We are asking for specific performance: pay us in full for the cost of having our car repaired ($3505.52), give us a refund on our service contract ($2000), reimburse us for the cost of a rental car for the time our car was in the shop ($1500), and pay punitive damages for the pain and suffering of the emotional stress of the past 6 weeks and having to purchase another extended warranty for our car.

Dap has two addresses (600 eagleview blvd, #300 in exton and 1800 jfk blvd, #300 in philadelphia) both of which i’m told are virtual – no employees, just a place where mail is collected. Someone needs to physically verify that, and if they are virtual, track down the criminals behind this operation and their assets so recompense can be made to those they stole from and justice can be served.

Here are the things i have already done:

• mailed notice of breach of contract to dap at exton address

• filed a formal complaint with the pennsylvania state attorney general’s office, the bbb, and the ftc

• posted reviews and complaints about dap’s fraudulent business practices on social media outlets, including:

• facebook

• trustpilot

• yelp

• google

• nextdoor

• consumer affairs

• consumer advocates

Delta Auto Protect

Fraudulent Vehicle Extended Warranty Company

THE SALE: On a direct phone call with a salesperson, we purchased a "Premier" auto extended warranty policy through Delta Auto Protect (DAP) on 2-17-2017.

OUR FIRST ENCOUNTER: On 12-17-19 (almost three years after purchasing the warranty), we dropped off our car at the dealership for possible repairs and they contacted DAP. On 12-18-19, DAP sent me an email requesting all maintenance records, which I sent that same day.

On 12-19-19, I called DAP and spoke to Justin Turner x408 to make sure my documents had been received. He said they had and that an inspector would be sent out to the Lincoln dealership to inspect the car to see if the repairs Lincoln proposed would be covered. I called the next day to ask when the inspector would be out. He said we had to give them 24-48 hours. The next week, I called back again to check on when the inspector would be out, and was told we had to now give them 7-10 days.

We called on 12-31-19 and spoke to Aaron x 407 who said “apparently there was no inspector available in our area.” Please note we live in the huge metroplex of Dallas Fort Worth, so we knew that wasn’t true. This went on and on, day after day.

I have called and asked for a supervisor and was told there were no supervisors there. On another occasion when I asked for a supervisor, another person got on the phone and as I was explaining the situation to her, she hung up on me.

Another time we were told our claim would be escalated to David Wright x512 in the Authorizations Department and when I asked to speak to him, she said “They don’t take calls.” I asked for his email and emailed him twice with no response.

On January 9th, again we were promised that an inspector would be out on a specific date, and when that day passed, we called again, and given another date. When challenging Nicole Johnson on January 13th about all the agents parroting the same script, yet there was no evidence of progression, she hung up on me.

DAP's LATEST TACTIC: It now seems that our phone number has been flagged, because after we call in and wait the usual 20-25 minutes for someone to answer, we are either promptly put on hold endlessly OR hung up on.

DAP's BREACH OF CONTRACT: DAP is in violation of UCC Section 2-309, which states they have a reasonable time to perform their duties. By contract, they made a promise to perform, and have breached that promise. They have been willful and negligent in their business practices by having no inspector available for over 30 days, with no legitimate reason.

OUR SPECIFIC PERFORMANCE RIGHTS: Pay in full to have our car repaired, give us a refund on the remainder of our service contract, and reimburse us for a rental car for the time our car has been in the shop waiting for their inspector to show up.

I paid for their best protection package when I bought my BMW knowing that a repair could be expensive. I paid them $3200 cash! My car is supposed to be covered fro 75000 miles or 4 yrs. I am about half way through my warranty and now I need a major repair!

After they got the estimate they stopped answering the phone or responding to my calls! When I call the line to sign up for a new plan, that phone gets answered! They then transfer me to a line that I leave messages at, and get no response!

This has been going on for 5 weeks! I call several times a week and get no response! These people STOLE my money! Plain and simple!! Bigges scam on the internet! Seems like a business license is a licensce to steal in this country these days! No protection for the Consumers!

Warning!

Do not buy a delta auto protect extended service program !!

You have been warned !!!

If you decide to purchase an extended service program for your automobile you may want to read this further.

I purchased an extended service program back on 01/15/2017 for my 2011 corvette from sean michaels (866-598-5429 x412) at delta auto protect. It was the diamond premier plan and would cover the vehicle for 80,000 or 8 years. I have since had the following experiences through july 31, 2019 using the extended service program from delta auto protect:

1) i received a voucher from delta auto protect regarding car wash promo. I was to be reimbursed for all car washes completed within 365 days of esp activation date. On 02/13/17 i submitted a receipt for $22.46 along with the car wash promo reimbursement form. I have not received any reimbursement on any car washes, ever!!!

2) i have had to repair the rear bearing on the passenger side of the car in february 2018. After taking it to an authorized repair shop, delta auto protect authorized the repair and provided the shop with an authorization number. 3 weeks after i get the car back, the repair shop calls me to call delta auto protect to see why they haven’t been paid. I called the delta auto protect number 866-598-5429, spoke to their customer service representative Csr) and they couldn’t handle anything and was transferred to the reimbursement group. They finally issued a check to the repair shop. I called the repair shop and gave the information the check is coming. Luckily it did.

3) on 05/23/2019 my car decided to not shift from park to any gear. The shift linkage part broke. A common problem for the c6 corvette. I called delta auto protect at 866-598-5429 at 13:50 and spoke to david. He recommended i take it to an authorized service center. I asked if a chevrolet dealership is authorized. He stated yes. I took it to sunset chevrolet. The fixed it but i had to pay the $632.93 bill. I asked why. Tito, the service rep at the dealership, told me that delta auto protect does not reimburse the repair work via credit cards. They reimburse by check if they ever reimburse and sunset chevrolet hasn’t had positive business experiences in doing business like this.

Warning!

You have been warned !!!

So, i pay the bill and submit the original receipts for towing ($135) and repair $632.93 to delta auto protect via registered mail/return receipt requested. Delta auto protect received the letter and the enclosed receipts on june 03, 2019. Kelley reeves from delta auto protect signed for it.

I called delta auto protect (866-598-5429) on june 20, 2019 @ 13:37 and spoke to jay after a 4 minute hold. I asked the status of the claim. Jay stated “ the receipts haven’t been uploaded as of yet”. It’s almost 3 weeks since they received and no activity. Jay went to get someone from the mail dept for a status. Placed on hold for a few minutes. Jay came back on and stated they will have to call me back. I asked how long. They stated 1 day. Jay stated he will call me back and give me a status. I verified the number for him to call me back on knowing full well jay will not call me back. Jay did state “this should have been processed by now”. Call was over in 7 minutes.

I never received call, so i called back (866-598-5429) on tuesday june 06, 2019 at 3:15pm (5 days later). After waiting on the call for 22 minutes for a representative to come on the line. I spoke to a lady who asked for a claim number. I told her i didn’t have one. I did inform her that i spoke to marie on 05/23/2019 and i asked for a purchase number, claim number or case number and marie Delta auto protect customer service rep) told me i didn’t need one. This new rep assigned me a claim # 276301 and then told me to submit the claim via email to [email protected]. I asked why do i have to email it when the contract states to mail it to:

Delta auto protect

1800 john f kennedy blvd

Suite 300

Philadelphia, pa 19103

Which i already did may 29, 2019 and they received on june 03, 2019 signed as received by kelley reeves? I then asked for a supervisor. I was transferred to stanley cass and julian Supervisor, allegedly). I asked for a status. They acknowledge they have it and that they will cut the check within 7-10 business days and i will have the check 5 business later.

On wednesday october 02, 2019 @ 2:15pm i called delta auto protect @ 866-598-5429, selected option 2 for question. I was on hold for 12 minutes and 40 seconds a delta auto protect customer service rep Female) picked up and hung up on me.

I called delta auto protect back on 866-598-5429 at 2:32pm and selected option 3 for status. After a 11 minute and 30 second hold i spoke to jessica. She stated i needed to get an odometer reading and a notarized letter asking for a refund. This letter is now to be sent to a new address. The new address is:

Delta auto protect

600 eagle view blvd

Suite 300

Exton, pa 19341

I asked since when and where is this published and why wasn’t i notified of the contract change since the contract states to mail it to:

Delta auto protect

1800 john f kennedy blvd

Suite 300

Philadelphia, pa 19103

And there is no mention of anything getting notarized. She just repeated herself and i agreed to send the information notarized as she requested.

Now you know it and i know it that jessica is lying to me but i’ll play along. Jessica at delta auto protect is a sorry excuse for a human being and the world now knows it !!

So, on 10/02/2019 i sent the following package:

1) notarized letter

2) a copy of the initial request Letter)

3) a picture of the odometer reading

The package was sent via the united states postal service, registered mail, return receipt requested. I have the receipt from usps that they received it and will send it. We will see when delta auto protect receives it.

Guess what? I receive a called from delta auto protect on 10/02/2019, right after i mailed the package to them, from the following number 831-210-9429 Spoofed number?). The rep from delta auto protect identified herself as katie and get this, katie stated the delta auto protect They) are waiving the requirement for the notarized letter and i should have a refund in 30 to 60 days. Well, this prove jessica at delta auto protect is a sorry excuse for a human being and an outright liar.

10/14/2019 i receive from the united states postal service the return receipt request from the mailing on 10/02/2019. The delta auto protect location at 600 eagle view blvd in exton, pa 19341 received the package on 10/07/2019. KenaneSp) carroll signed for the package. Apparently, kenaneSp) printing and penmanship in grade school because it both are illeligible.

10/30/2019 09:19 am i called delta auto protect at 813-210-9429 Probably a spoofed number) and 2 minutes later marie scott answered. I asked for katie and marie informed me katie is not in. I provided marie with the esp number and asked for a status of the refund. Marie states that she sees a note that delta auto protect waived the notarized letter requirement and that i should be receiving a check either the first week or the second week of november. I asked if she could provide the prorated amount since they have had six (6) weeks to process the request. She Marie) was not able to provide that information.

I purchased 3 warranty contracts for my Dodge 2500, my VW and My Lexus. I originally took my VW for repair to Huntington Beach garage. Delta promised to pay them for repairs. THe check never came. I finally had to pay to get my car out. The did reimburse me a small amount.

Next I took the VW in again for more repairs. Delta didnt want to pay for the Parts. They wanted to send their own. THey fought with the Garage for 2 months to no avail. I finally took it to another Garage who refused to deal with Delta because of past experience. I forwarded the bills to Delta and it was again Denied.

Now i take my dodge truck in for repairs. Its over 1K. It was also denied. I sold the Lexus which had a 3 year contract with Delta. They came up with all kinds of administrative costs in order not to refund me ANY amount.

THIS COMPANY TRIES HARDER TO NOT PAY THAN TO HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!! After giving them 8K i realize they are not legit. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Buyer Beware. STAY AWAY. They will never return a phone call and keep you on hold for hours.

I decided to purchase an extended warranty with Delta Auto Protect when I bought my Ford F150 in 2015. In October 2018 my car broke down and needed a new driveshaft, so I had to get it towed to the nearest Ford dealership, which cost $74. Once my car was at the dealership, it was a back and forth between the dealership and Delta, as well as myself and Delta, to get the parts and labor needed even authorized. Anytime anybody, whether myself or the shop, contacted Delta, neither of us were able to get anyone on the phone, and left so many messages that I am seriously unable to recount the times I have called them. Neither me, or the shop, ever got a call back. After my truck was at the dealership for almost two weeks, and Delta's practices of not returning calls, I was finally able to pick up my truck. When I drove home the day I picked it up, it was immediately clear to me that something was still not right with my truck. Once I got home I immediately called the dealerhip who informed me that Delta had sent them used and refurbished parts to install. My contract did not mention that they would authorize refurbished parts to be installed. After driving my truck for two weeks I had to take it back to the shop because the vibrating got worse again.

The second time around, the dealership had to do a special kind of diagnostic in order to figure out what the issue was. It turned out that it was the driveshaft, because Delta had only autorized the use of a refurbished part, which it was. The shop then contacted Delta to tell them that they needed them to send a new driveshaft, to which Delta's response was that they will not send any parts until the shop returned the refurbished parts back to them. So there my truck was, disassembled, standing at the dealership again, and I was without a working vehicle. After two weeks the shop finally called me telling me my truck was ready to go, but also informed me that I will have to pay for the part and labor myself, a total of 438.55$ (because Delta will not cover the diagnostic or taxes, but in Pennsylvania they are required to reimburse taxes) since they had been trying to contact Delta for those two weeks, but were not able to get a person to talk to on the line. I, myself, have also tried to contact Delta on multiple occasions (and I have records of all phone calls and attempts to contact Delta Auto Protect), without success. At this point I haven't even been reimbursed the towing fees, either, after talking to a certain Hector Cruz on multiple occasions who kept telling me to send over the invoice and they would send me a check. I sent him 3(!!) emails, still no check.

On the 12/24/2018, I drove to Delta Auto Protect's office in Philadelphia, because I simply had enough of not being able to speak to anyone who could actually get something done in regards to my claims. I got to the office building they claim to be located at. After I walked into the lobby and asked the information desk for the office of Delta Auto Protect, they said that no such company was located at this building. Well, that's when I called the hotline of Delta again, but I pretended to be interested in buying one of their warranties and asked them for their location. She gave me the address which I was already at. That's when she said she would put me through to someone higher up. I was finally put through to, Hector Cruz, who asked me what I wanted. So I told him that I was at their supposed office location and I wanted to drop off paperwork, including my cancellation of their extended warranty because I simply have enough of dealing with them. Hector then told me that he could not come downstairs, nor let me come upstairs, because they didn't take any walk-ins due to security reasons and due to corporate policy.

After 6 weeks I finally received payment for towing, which was 74.00 Dollars. There is still an open invoice after vehicle was in the shop the 2nd time, because of refurbished parts sent by Delta Auto Protect, which had to be replaced. Delta Auto Protect paid for labor hours 216 Dollars for the first time of repair and do not want to know anything about the 2nd repair caused by their faulty parts. There were also necessary diagnostic tests required after the installation of faulty parts, which Delta refuses to acknowledge.

After all the problems I have had, I canceled my contract with Delta Auto Protect, although I still had about 18 months left on my contract. On the January 7th I received an E-Mail, with a cancellation confirmation, which they wanted me to sign. I went through said document and to my surprise they added a new paragraph that was different from the paperwork I had initially signed when purchasing their extended auto warranty. The newly added paragraph read as follows:

VII. CANCELLATION OF VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT Section D. At the time the sale was conducted on XXXXXXXXX there was a deferred registration fee of $250.00 and this is only due if contract is cancelled prior to the term start as noted above. Once the contract begins, it is activated and the registration fee is non-refundable.

Also they added a paragraph which stated, that I have to remove all my negative reviews.

None of this was in my original contract that I had signed. They simply added this on. The money of the invoice from Ford, which I had to pay up front to get my car back, was still not reimbursed to me. I sent them 5 E-Mails with the invoice from Ford, they ignored every single one of them.

Dean (Service Department) from John Kennedy Ford, Feasterville, Pa can verify this information, he was also very involved attempting to contact Delta Auto Protect. Up to this day, I did not hear anything from this company.

  • Oct 5, 2018

June 2018 my dealer called in for authorization for a repair. It took 2 1/2 days to get the authorization. Upon repair completion I paid my portion of the bill. As of 10/7/18 the dealer has not been paid for the repair by Delta.

The dealership called me about the issue as they have have been told over and over the check is in the mail. I began to call Delta to find out the status. You get put on hold for 20 minutes, maybe some one will answer or you get sent to voice mail telling you to leave your info and some one will call you back. Several times I left a message, NEVER did they call back.

When I finally got to talk to a llive person Mr. Jack Parks on Sept 26th, he told me the check was mailed on the 18th and that they have 10 days to deliver it. He took my email address and was to send me tracking information. That NEVER happened.

On Monday October 1st, the dealer called me to tell me the check never arrived. I called Delta again, only to be sent to voice mail and again NO return call.

I live in a small town where everyone knows everyone. The dealer asked me to pay the $630.00. I did not want to but they did the work and are due the money So I paid the bill. To this day I can not get a hold of Mr. Parks. I have talked with another associate but they insisted only Jack Parks can handle the account.

My daughter also emailed the company and asked for a refund the same day policy was written and she didnt get a repsonse until04/23/2018. and email stated that he was forwarding the email. I have called daily, as my daughter has and emailed and we get the run around, put on hold, transferred and hung up on.

thew last call i made was this AM and i asked to speak to a supervisor. His name is ERIC, i told him the story how my card was used without my persmission and that i wanted a completed refund and the policy cancelled. he then stated why i didnt want to have my daughters car warrenty. and then he stated that he can change the policy so that it is in my name..ect.ect. i told him i didint want a warrenty, i want my money back... this went back and forth for at least 10 mins. then when he reliazed i wasnt budging he said he couldnt talk to me, he neeeded to talk to my daughter to cancel policy. i told him my daughter would call him right back. my daughter did within a minute, and she was sent to a voicemail.

My vehicle required repairs costing $2,100. I had used Deltafor three other claims that were questionable, but they paid some. On 3 March, 2018 they refused a claim of approx 2,100 after the work was completed, leaving me with a huge bill. As a disabled Army veterans, who lives on a fixed income, this refusal was devastating to me. I purchased this so-called "warranty" to avoid just such events. They probably have some legal mumbo jumbo that allows such scams, but this oufit harms American and reflect poorly on the state.

This company is garbage and a total joke. I am a manager for an auto service center and it is definitely the WORST warranty company I have EVER dealt with in 13 years. Their adjusters are rude and condensending. When you give them the list prices for parts they either say well we will be shipping you our own parts within the next 24 hours, or that is way too expensive and we will only pay you a fraction of what you are trying to sell the part for. Don’t even think about trying to get paid once the claim is completed! Endless run arounds and complete BS from this company is what you will get. "Oh the finance department is closed today, call again tomorrow,” "we mailed a check out and you should receive it within 14 days” "you didn’t get the check? It must have gotten lost in the mail. As soon as a stop payment is processed we will mail you out another one.” "Oh you still didn’t receive it? We will mail one out to you again once another stop payiment is issued” "still no check? That’s so weird this never happens” "I would have paid you with a credit card but I already processed your payment again with a check. If it doesn’t show up in 14 days call back and once a stop payment is issued we will pay you via credit card”. What kind of mail takes 14 days to get anywhere? Lies after lies after lies is all you will get from this joke of a company. After a good month and a half of getting the run around from these people I finally got someone to provide with me a credit card number for payment, and it was DECLINED!! Never again will I accept this warranty in my service facility. Horrible horrible horrible.

17 days they said they were mailing a check

never recieved check

31 days no check. called they were stopping payment on that check and sending a new check. The following day we would recieve email with tracking number.

never recieved email.

37 days called. They refunded the money to our credit card that we purchased the policy with. That credit card is a closed account. Called them back they said you will have to deal with the credit card company to get your money back.

Called credit card company said write a letter (Chase Card Services, P.O. Box 15298, Willmington, DE 19850-5298)and someone will contact you after your letter is recieved. I asked for their phone number and they don't have a contact number. I inquired if there is a way to tract the transaction. They were of no help, write a letter.

Called Delta Auto back. They will not do anything to help us get the payment that they sent the credit card company.

They sent us a email of the payment which reads as follows:

Pretty simple... Paid $1,500 for a warranty, filed a claim that they approved and they never paid.

Was told 3 separate checks were in the mail, none of which ever arrived.

Was told they have to check in with "finance" or "claim dept" or someone else to see what's happening.

Bottom line is they are 100% scam and you will never, ever get paid for your claim.

Delta Auto Protect are con-artist who take your money and even with a contract that’s paid for failed to deliver what you are entitled to as per agreement signed and paid for. I purchased a policy from them about 2 year ago and they failed to deliver on what the contract which states they will pay for covered repairs, towing cost and car rental reimbursement when approved. They claimed that as long as the parts are covered under my warranty that all I have to do is take my car to a certified dealer and then all I pay is a small deductible and they pay the remaining balance expeditiously.

Each time the car go to BMW dealer for repair they took months to pay on the first visit and never paid any other visits, the dealer decides not to release car until they get paid even after they assured dealer of check written because Delta took months to pay on first visit. Each subsequent visit dealer waited for weeks and DeltaAutoProtect told lies and promises that money is forth coming that never came and to get vehicle I had to pay to collect. Delta stated that i should submit all bills and this was done since November 2017 and i have yet to be reimburse and each time I called DeltaAutoProtect spewed lies and promises and still has not delivered even with correspondent in email.

I have numerous correspondent from Delta and I have made unlimited amount of phone calls after waiting at times over an hour to speak to someone I am told payment was made and it’s in the mail. Today is January 24, 2018 and I still have not gotten the last 5 claims going back to October 2015.

BMW refuses to take words from Delta for payment they will not release any customer car unless the check is in hand and it never came on the last service call they held the car for 1 month until i paid to get car and they refuse to pay for car rental even after giving verbal ok to rent a car while the car is in the shop.

Anyone reading this, I would recommend staying away from Delta Auto Protect. In my opinion the absolute worst extended warranty I've ever dealt with. I've been in the automotive repair industry for over 20 years and have dealt with most extended warranties out there. I have never experienced an unwillingness to process and pay repairs; to the point that I've had to tell my employees to not accept this extended warranty.

Of course I cannot prove this but it feels and seems as if their goal is to collect money for the policies they sell and then become so hard to deal with when it comes to processing repair claims that repair facilities refuse to accept them. Normally when dealing with warranty companies payment for repairs are recieved at the latest the next day.

I have been waiting for payment since 01/05/2018. You can hardly get anyone on the phone. You will get their answering service with not one return call. You will get transferred to voicemail with no return call. You will be given email addresses to send documents with no response. It is almost laughable at how incompetent this company is; I would be if it weren't for the fact that I have not been paid the $807.45 they currently owe me.

The worst Extended Warranty Company

Not Impressed at all. I purchased the Diamond Premier policy in August 2015 at the cost of $5118. I have never made a claim until two weeks ago. I had three issues with my car. 1) The convertible roof would not latch down. 2) the trunk micro-switch was broken 3) The steering rack was leaking. They refused to cover the roof and truck and now they are telling the garage they will only cover 15% of the steering rack cost. Meanwhile they lie to me every time I call by telling me the part has been ordered and would be delivered in 24 hours. My car has now been in the shop for 10 days and no sign of resolution. I have now reached out to an Attorney, the BBB and an SEO company to spread my experience as wide as possible across the net.

My shop did a job and Delta Auto Protect was to cover about 2/3 of the bill. The job was completed Sept 12, 2016. At that time we were told that they would mail a check for the pre-approved amount and we would have it in 10-14 days. After that time went by and we had not gotten the check we called to check the status of the payment. According to Aaron the payment had been sent. We gave it a little more time but still nothing. We called back and were told that they sent the check but it was returned because they had the address wrong. When asked what address they mailed it to, they read off the correct address. As of today it's November 8th and we still have not been paid.

My suggestion to shop owners would be to not release the vehicle until it's paid for when dealing with Delta Auto Protect, or make the customer pay then reimburse them once you're paid. We deal with several warranty companies and we've never been strung along like this.

My advise to potetial warranty company customers would be to be sure to read the fine print.

Paid $2500 for a 5 yr/ addtional 100,000 mile warranty. In the year since I purchased this, I had some major repairs total about 6 or 7000 dollars. These are moving lubricated parts covered under 99% of other warranties per the BMW Dealer service center and 2 other reputable mechanics. They have covered nothing and have rejected every claim save the moter mounts. I have requested a pro-rated refund.

Delta Auto Protect is a huge rip off!!! I purchased a policy from them 1 year ago and they sold me a fraudulent policy. They claimed that as long as the parts are covered under my warranty that all I have to do is take my car to a certified dealer and then all I pay is a small deductable and they pay the remaining with there credit card over the phone.

Well this was all a complete lie!!!!!! They called the dealer where my car was located and told them instead of paying for the repairs they are going to ship out a a used engine from a junk yard. Fast forward a week and the dealer recieves the engine and the engine is 143,000 mile engine and is oozing out oil!!!! The dealer contacted Delta and the said there vendor lied to us and they will ship out another engine. The second engine was shipped out and also ozing oil and they said its a good engine just go ahead and put it in your car.

We were then put on hold for 45 mins and heard the so called tech in the background yelling to the customer service rep telling him what to say to me and they always say your claim is in review we will follow up with you in a few hours and never call back.

I then called posing as a new customer inquiring about buying a policy and the first thing I asked them was do you pay for repairs or just ship out used parts. The customer service rep said we pay over the phone and never ship out used parts we dont do that. He lied!!!!! When I asked to speak to his supervisor he put me on hold for 25 minutes came back on the line and put me on the phone with the tech who was assigned to me because once they realized they slipped up they started there lies again.

This company is full of **** and full of lies and deception. This has been a pure nightmare and I am in the process of sueing the crap out them!!! This company is the Devil in the flesh!!! Stay far away as possible from them. They don't care about hard working families and only care about there pockets.

If you have weeks to wait for you car to get fixed, then this company might be ok for you...that is IF you are one of the minority that actually get claims paid. My car was in the shop days before we could get anyone to call back. Then several more days passed by with the excuse that the claim is "in review" or that they would "call back in 1 hour" They never called back. After 10 days Delta Protect sent out their own technician to look at the car, telling the mechanic "I can't tell you anything" as the customer they told me "it's in review" meanwhile I have no vehicle. Eventually the claim was denied to have the transmission worked on because I was not able to submit all of the records for oil changes (general maintenence), which is all my car had needed based on the maintenence schedule. The general maintenance has nothing to do with the transmission but that doesnt matter. BEWARE! They expect you to be accountable for records of service that occu red BEFORE the contractual agreement to do so. It's a loophole they use to DENY payment for repairs. AVOID THIS COMPANY...PLEASE!
