We installed a stairlift for Delstal at the clients house on August 5, 2016. After installation, we were called back several times for faulty parts which we removed, returned for replacements, then re-installed. New batteries were also needed, which we paid for.
We were not reimbursed for any of the 4 additional services calls that were required to remove and replace the faulty parts or for the batterys that needed to be replaced, even though Keith Evans at Delstal said they would "make it right".
Our first invoice to Delstal was incorrect (due to our error), so we sent a revised invoice with the correction, but as of Dec. 5, 2016 have not yet received payment for the additional parts or service calls.
Delstal told the client that we had installed stairlifts for them before which was not true.
We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
I made a purchase with US Medical December 2019, I cancelled and requested refund. This company will not return calls and has not refunded my $2,200.00
Please contact me regarding POOR service from Delstal chairlift company. I spoke with Keith in the customer service @855# who was rude while defending the service tech who was out twice to repair our lift chair then left it dismantled and worse than before he started working on it. Keith said the tech said i use offensive language with him after he refused to reply to text and calls to him and messages about the repair, I DID NOT EVER! I always spoke to the young man with appreciation and respect for his efforts. I want my chair put back to its original state (IF it can not fixed) and a FULL refund. It's a shame some businesses take advantage of seniors i had hoped this is not the way this business was run, I was wrong. The service tech Brett Moore was sent pictures of his dis-repair after attempts to fix the chair for the second time and he took ownership of the problem and assured me he would make it right. after his second attempt he abandon the job and complained about needing parts. then started not returning most calls and texts. He taped up some parts and left us holding the bag! keith in customer NO service said he would send him back out if i paid another service charge for the same non-service,NOT! Listen to this, keith also told me the tape used was there by a previous repair (this was the 1st repair!). Bad company!
Ordered parts from Mike at Delstal $184.00 worth. Asked to have them shipped overnight. I was told the parts would ship on Friday and I would receive them on Saturday. I did not receive them until 7 days later. I was told someone entered the wrong zip code when I called to find out where my parts were. I asked to not have them ship overnight and they did anyway. I was charged $60.00 for for overnight that I actually received the parts 7 days late.
Worked with Thomas at Delstal. Even though we are 2600 miles apart their local service tech was knowledgeable courteous and on time. Thomas was a pleasure to work with, he actually drove to the manufacturer's warehouse to pick up parts (15 mi. away) so my technician could have my stairlift back in service asap. Service is their middle name. 5 stars.
This is the worst company I ever dealt with. Rude customer service. Takes your deposit for repair. Schedule service and never showed up or called. When we called looking for an explanation I was told too bad and deal with it. We will call you and reschedule at our convenience. I demanded a refund and still have not received it.
