As our coordinator and "caterer", nothing was as it should have been. Delia was late, unprofessional, angry, and didn't provide the menu, staff or services she said she would. She said her home kitchen was at Temple Emmanuel, we have learned that this isn't true. She used my kitchen, condiments, pots and pans etc., brought frozen meat, was understaffed, some people didn't even get food. An example was at our "waffle bar" she served "eggo" waffles (what?). Last minute I had to hire my own staff, help with clean-up, and have gotten calls from vendors she'd failed to pay. At one point toward the end of our brunch, the day after our failed wedding catering, I asked where Delia was (the event wasn't even over!), she had left, taken our smoked salmon to be used at another event (my staff told me), and my home was a mess. Delia scammed us and left a terrible taste in our mouths! So sorry to be writing this review.
Hired her for a weekend wedding including 3 meals All were a disaster Hours late in serving, not the food we ordered, not nearly the number of staff laid for. Ruined my daughters wedding. Won't even offer a refund. Several vendors also looking for payment Do not hire, she is horrible
Delia is the consummate con artist. I hired her to do a new website, social media campaign and new logo for my company. I gave her a deposit. She also asked me for money for one year of web hosting for the new website and i paid her for this. She started working on the website and social media platforms and was doing a good job. In the meantime, she told me that for the last five years, she was trying to start a non-profit and if i advanced her the balance, she would give me a discount. I did this to help her out. At the same time, she went to new york to supposedly meet with george soros' folks regarding the non-profit and called me in tears saying she lost her purse, the hotel was going to kick her out and she had no one else to call. I paid for her hotel room and gave her a $200 loan. I also asked delia to create the llc for me and i paid her $750 to do so. When i realized the numbers for the llc didn't add up, i called, texted and e-mailed delia to tell her to stop working on this and that i would take care of it. She was supposed to come over four different times to repay me for the hotel room and the llc refund and all four times, she had some excuse why she didn't show up. I then researched her name on the internet and found that she is a convicted felon In 2006, seven counts of felony grand theft of personal property and seven counts of misdemeanor unauthorized practice of law). In 2016, she was found liable for trademark infringement. I finally fired her and gave her a demand for the over $4,700 she owes me. I was willing to let her keep some of the money for the work she had done on the website, logo and social media). She did not pay up by the demand date and i am now in the process of pursuing all legal remedies against her. I do not believe delia is a u.S. Citizen, as notated on the felony case report. I have submitted a report about her to homeland security.
